If it wasn't for the "Liberals" in this country, we would'nt be headed in this direction!

Default Not really...

I disagree, and what facts is your statement based on? I find that the United States government has just grown too large to handle all everything at once.

Until someone can provide evidence that the American People can be overruled when it comes to makeing new laws, I am going to have to say that no, we are not a dictatorship.

If you think we are a dictatorship, explain to me who the dictator is and where his legal authority from.

Only problem with it is that these greedy corporate CEO's are taking advantage of the system, screwing over the American people by sending jobs overseas, having kids overseas working in sweat shops so that they dont have to pay American workers a fair wage, hiring illegal immigrants for the same reason, and then using these profits to buy off politicians so that they can continue these F'd up policies.

If we could curtail corporate greed and the crimes they are commiting then we could most definitely have ourselves a Democracy.

Until then we are free only as long as we dont interfere with the "bottom line"

We can do anything we want. None of these institutions are above the law...if we really wanted to, yes, we could get rid of them. It is legally possible to do so, by a Constitutional Amendment if nothing else.

But even that would not be required probably. Not a single person has posted any evidence that any of these supposed "rogue institutions" are outside of our legal control. It's a bunch of conspiracy theory nonsense.

Everyone just thinks that America will always work and that noone has to do anything to keep powers in check.
Does anyone think that in 1930 any german had ANY IDEA what was coming with Hitler. NOOO. We need to realize that the power of the people is our only chance to not have our country take the path of every other Powerful nation in history. People get, then abuse power and it will eventually happen if we don't do anything about it.
Look at bush, he has already broken almost every Ammendment to the Bill of Rights.

They were an inferior culture. That is why they did not see the dangers of what they were doing.

But even so, Hitler gained power through violence and coersion. There is obviously not a modern analog to that in America.
