I think Lincoln was the most unpopular president in history (his election caused a civil war), but he did a great job, won a war, occupied the equivalent of a foreign nation for years, implemented a harsh policy of reconstruction, and ended slavery.

subconscious selective cognition perhaps... it doesn't seem like they are purposely deceitful...perhaps lack of formal concepts of logic and association, or failure of application (perhaps lack of practice) of these concepts... how can the brain refuse to process sensory input logically? or what may cause the brain to possibly refuse sensory input altogether? i'm no psychologist...

Yes, it seems like these people are the same people who believe illegal trespassers in our country deserve the same or even greater rights than citizens, the same people who devalue national law and national rights to self defense in favor of blind faith in the UN, an elite international bureaucracy made up of many non-democratic or freedom loving countries, most of which that can't defend themselves or accomplish anything significant in the world without the USA.

The idea that animals that refuse to follow any rules of war should be entitled to the protections of the rules of war is so ridiculous that it fits perfectly in the liberals minds. It would destroy the treaty by enforcing it irrationally and unjustly against people truly fighting for freedom and justice. When you arrest and charge people with war crimes over your petty political goals, liberals, you will force all countries to walk away from the war crimes treaty, making wars for everyone more barbaric, more like the muslims. There is no way we should stay in the treaty if it gives violaters the protections while they torture our people, target our civilians, cut people's heads off, murder children and women in glee, etc.

Get a grip on reality. The USA are the GOOD guys and the islamomorons are the BAD guys. Stop wasting time talking ridiculous trash on those with the balls to fight back against the islamoterrorists and get on board for the fight for freedom that the muslims are trying to take away from all of us.
