Default Jesus Christ Was a Socialist therefore the USA is UN-CHRISTIAN

We know that Jesus Christ was a socialist or quasi-liberal-anarchist.

We also know that the USA is a non-Christian nation.

Its easy now to link the external military behaviour of the USA and its corporate based fascist foreign policy with its NON-CHRISTIAN values and attitudes.

Yes it all makes sense to me now.

in what ways do you believe Jesus was a socialist? To the best of my knowledge, he never advocated STATE control of industry. The best claim you can make is that he was a collectivist, but that collectivism was ONLY to be found within the small religious congregations he established.

You mean like Bush respects individual rights?

Like those Philadephia cops beat those BLACK men whilst they lay on the street?

Like Bush's response to Katrina?

Like Bush's slaughter of almost 910,000 innocent Iraq civlians?

Is that the sort of respect you are talkng about?

And what makes you think Jesus would support capitalism?

You cant put the words "FREE" and "CAPITALISM" in the same sentense. Its a contradiction.

I can see why you have left the USA and hide in PErth - ASutralia is great hey - BEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD. Whereas the USA is heading down the drain at an enormous rate

THE USA - the worlds most disrespected nation at the moment. Noone even wants to do business withe her anymore - unless of course you need to buy WEAPONS of MASS DESTRUCTION.

Listen CHief, I suggest you stay in PERTH - its paradise compared to anything in the USA at the moment

GOD BLESS AMERICA

This is indeed true. (no sarcasm, completely serious)

That's why I hate it when liberals attack me for wanting to tell them to live "Christian" lives with the state's power. You're a liberal, right Foolosophy? How does this affect you view of what the right wing in America stands for?

I am an Apolitcal Non-Religious Humanist (that doesnt mean I am an atheist!)

The only thing that interests me is the upholding of human rights and the basic moral and ethical principles that people know to be important in their families and communities (like "the principle of universality")

If societies get these pillars right and uphold them, everything else will flow from that - You may even have peace.

Ironically the USA has one of strongest humans right advocacy written in stone in its constitution and Bill of rights.
The USA was also the freest society on earth, in my opinion.

But over the past 10 or so decades, the USA economic and political systems have been hyjacked and corrupted by the Oligarchical set up that fuels a private corporation network which is based on socialistic corporate welfare and protectionism.

The cost is truth, freedom and human rights for the bulk of the US population who have always lived in fear of some external threat due to the constant relentless propaganda drenching

Just an opinion of course - I need to get back to my pizza and beer
