I don't think McCain's remark was a big deal. I still haven't figured out the math. 132K + 21K +8K - 3 brigades doesn't add up to 155K. I think you should continue to try to make hay out of it though. When you have a candidate who is constantly saying stupid stuff to include insulting voters, you need all the help you can get. Barack seems like a little kid - "looky looky what he said".

The question now is whether it was an outright lie, or if McCain really doesn't know this stuff.

Some day, conservatives and liberals will look at a piece of videotape and agree on what the hell happened.

McCain's gaffe is about matters of war, and like the conservatives here, he doesn't let the facts get in the way of his message.

The title of the thread is "McCain Lies About Troop Levels". Can you cite your information showing where McCain gave his statement, knowing it wasn't true, with the intent to deceive?
