US Defense Secretary, Gates ousted the Air Force’s top military and civilian leaders
Did you hear it? US Defense Secretary, R. Gates ousted the Air Force’s top military and civilian leaders! It was announced at the news conference the decision of resignations of US AF Chief of Staff Gen. M. Moseley and US AF Secretary M. Wynne was based on allowance of claims, related to the mistaken shipment to Taiwan of four Air Force electrical fuses for ballistic warheads and well-known flight of a B-52 bomber that was mistakenly armed with six nuclear-tipped cruise missiles.
It is only an official version of top American figures. But both announced startling incidents belong to past collection of US AF mistakes. So it seems to me that in reality main causes of these resignations were extreme disciplinary measures towards inappeasable US AF military and civilian chiefs, who have dared to express strong dissent from current US military preparations to future war against Iran.
And there is nothing surprise that such combat general as M. Moseley, who commanded coalition air forces during the initial invasion of Iraq in March 2003, has refused to be tied to the chariot of Bush administration and to continue sending his soldiers to ignominious death. The other thing makes me stare. In spite of everything Bush hurries to begin a new war! To all seeming he plans to start it right on the eve of the final phase of presidential election campaign for receiving another best card by his possible successor J. McCain. The scheme of Bush’s maneuver is simple: more Americans will vote for Republicans, because only those, who initiate the war, should finish it. The next absurdity of White House’s political instructors, isn’t it?
