Default Midwest flooding in contrast to Hurricane Katrina.

... As you watch the flooding in the Midwest, have you noticed that
there are no farmers running around with stolen plasma TVs or holding
stolen liquor over their heads. There's no looting or yelling "Where's
Bush?", "Where's FEMA?, Where's my check?", or "Why isn't the government
out here saving me and my farm?"

Likewise, I've also noticed there are no reports of any other country
coming to help or sending aid. Shocking contrast isn't it???!!!!

The flooding is only the half of it, you haven't mentioned all the tornados.

Did they look like psychos? Is that what they looked like? They were vampires. Psychos do not explode when sunlight hits them, I don't give a **** how crazy they are!

There actually have not been a "huge" number of twisters, though the F5 in Parkersburg does make me sit up and take note...

You are right. The flooding hit the poorest part of Cedar Rapids the hardest, and even then there have been few reported cases of looting. I have heard of three, and that is from outsiders stealing things post flood, not the flood plain dwellers themselves.

I makes me proud to be an Iowan.
