Well that is certainly the strategy of the left, the White House and much of the main stream media. However based upon the way the poll numbers for this massive government debacle continue to tank I'm not sure how well this smear tactic is working.

I love how it never dawns on apologists that what it means to be conservative has gone so far right in the past few years, that the average person struggles to reconcile the tenants of the party with reality. It's not a case of every one and every thing shifting to the left, but it's to be expected that would be the perspective of those who are rapidly and violently shifting more and more right all the time.

Someone said it best when they said that the scale measurement of left-right is misleading. The actual scale is democracy-totalitarianism, where political striping has no determinant on where a person/group places. The Apologists/Birthers/Town Hall Mobs are definitly moving away from Democracy when they invalidate other's right to be heard and push propaganda nonstop with the aim of disruption, not discussion.

Exposing the carefully hidden truths about astroturfing is a smear tactic. I love it.



I don't recall the dem protesters being unwitting victims of astroturfing and claiming their movements were bipartisan when they clearly weren't.

Another simple truth you may want to meditate on is how furious the majority of conservative-minded Americans, Republicans and Democrats, are going to be after another 200 days of the kind of bumbling, grasping, power-hungry initiatives we continue to see pouring out of Obama's Socialist governmental pig-stye.
