Default Democrats accuse GOP of inciting mobs

This doesn't surprise me at all because the party of Rush Limbaugh is desperate and fighting for survival.

Quote:
WASHINGTON (CNN) – The Democratic National Committee will amplify its charge that Republicans are responsible for “inciting angry mobs of a small number of rabid right wing extremists … to disrupt” town hall meetings in a new 65 second Web video that will release Wednesday morning.

The video shows footage of angry constituents and protestors at recent events and then flashes pictures of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, House Minority Leader John Boehner, Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele, and even conservative talk radio icon Rush Limbaugh on the screen.

“They lost the election,” the narrator says. “They lost on the recovery act, the budget and children's health care. They've lost the confidence of the American people after eight years of failed policies that ruined our economy and cost millions of jobs. Now, desperate Republicans and their well funded allies are organizing angry mobs – just like they did during the election. Their goal? Destroy President Obama.”

The DNC issued a sharp statement Tuesday accusing Republicans and GOP allies of encouraging and coordinating the disruptive behavior at the town hall meetings...

The DNC have a hard time believing that the finger should be pointed at their own party representatives
Pelosi promised transparency
Promised ethics reform (the most ethical BS)
Obama promised to cut government spending, and (cough, cough)transparency

None of those things have occurred under the new leadership in Washington. Instead what has happened is a rush to pass exorbitant spending, no transparency, and not listening to the people who put them in those positions.

The outcry from the public is for all politicians, Repubs and Dems, who will not do the bidding of their constituents, but instead represent party loyalists and big corporate lobbiest. Oh you also forgot to mention, DNC is also accusing Insurance companies paying these citizens to protest, darn I haven't got my check in the mail from them yet!

The truth hurts when it paints your party as radical doesn’t it! Oh so soon we forget when the Republicans held the reigns of power, how committee meeting would be shut down and microphones would be unplugged in mid sentence. Oh how soon we forget when people would raise their concerns and be escorted away by police.

To coordinate and collectively send people to disrupt the political process is to me a crime and should be enforced and punished by the law: Disorderly conduct, a citable offense and when resistance is displayed an arrestable offense. I know the Neo-cons would just love that! More to talk about and blame the Democratic Party for.

Shouldn’t these people be working or something?

Good, because I'm unemployed and aching for a bloody civil war so I can kill a bunch of fascists.

Still, that's no excuse for 'mob-mentality' to rear it's ugly head. The r-wing extremists should be ashamed of their behavior!

Is this really the DNC party line and voter stance on this?

You do realize, that this is happening in Democrat districts. I guess the GOP somehow grabbed every seat in every townhall meeting, b/c when I hear or watch a video of these things, every single person I can see is cheering on the citizens saying this stuff. I dont see how it would be possible to stage such a thing where every single solitary person in the room is either cheering or booing at the same things. Its just not possible.

But please, keep calling voters "the mob" and the "Marx Bros". Please. Please keep making fun of voters and their dissent. I want liberals to be able to tell us who they really are finally.

The fact you guys automatically trumpet the propaganda from the DNC and teh state run press is hiliarious. "NO, no regular person can be that upset over this. Its just not possible, it must be staged!" Yeah right.

Why is it a "mob"? Are we not allowed to directly question our representatives? Are they not accountable to We the People?

These arent extremists....lol. There average everyday people who are fed up with the lying, the deception, and the dereliction of duty of the US Congress as a whole. Its their God-given right to question their representatives. End of discussion.

You guys sure didnt see anything wrong with dissent under Bush. Now suddenly you have a problem with it?....lol.

Sure, as soon as the left wing extremists become ashamed of their behavior when conservatives speak on college campuses and other settings (like Coulter).

Old news, actually....

A leaked memo from Bob MacGuffie, a volunteer with the FreedomWorks website Tea Party Patriots, details how members should be infiltrating town halls and harassing Democratic members of Congress:
– Artificially Inflate Your Numbers: “Spread out in the hall and try to be in the front half. The objective is to put the Rep on the defensive with your questions and follow-up. The Rep should be made to feel that a majority, and if not, a significant portion of at least the audience, opposes the socialist agenda of Washington.”
