No, if you go back to the post to which you originally responded, you will see that what I was seeking was backup of for Consmike's claim:

...the [unemployment] rate doesn't include people who's unemployment benefits ran out.

which I believe is BS and he just made it up, and despite several posts claiming to provide a cite, we still haven't seen backup up for yet.

funny how you liberal were whining when Bush had 5% but think is just dandy to see almost 10% of American work force out of work because the democrat are scaring the (*)(*)(*)(*) out of people whom create jobs. Small business.
What is really funny is that I don't recally anyone whining about the unemployment rate when it was at 5%.

I do recall some conservatives bragging about unemployment under Bush and erroneously claiming he'd had the lowest rate in years, however.

The NeoCons are going to figure out a way to blame the economic collapse of Clinton and credit Bush's tax cuts to the rich for the good news on unemployment.

I wonder if my situation would have thrown off the numbers: Was laid off and collected unemployment for two months, found a job and didnt report it just stopped calling in for my checks. Do they assume I just left the job market? BTW, who ever just leaves the job market unless they're retiring? People just say "screw it" and go live in the gutter? I highly doubt thats a high percentage.
