Default A Million or More Rock Washington, DC for the 912 March

WND

I am so exhausted. We rode the bus all night Friday, walked all day Saturday, then rode the bus all night Sat.

My son and I walked all over DC. We did the march. We were right there at the Freedom Plaza when the Capitol Police made us step off early because the crowd was too large.

When we got to the Capitol, we took a break and ate some beef jerky. Then we walked back to the Archives. After paying our respects to the US Constitution, we walked to the White House to take pictures. We walked all over DC to every monument and every museum that we could get to.

After the White House, we went to the WWII memorial, then the Vietnam Wall, Lincoln's memorial, the Washington Monument, the Jefferson Memorial, and the Smithsonian museums.

I wore my new boots, so my feet are tore up. LMAO But, it was worth every blister. My son and I had a blast, and met some great people from all walks of life and every corner of the country.

I have about 100 pictures to cull through, so when I get to it, I will post them here for everyone to see.

Also, I met this blogger who had a photographer with him. He said he will be posting hundreds of high quality images soon. http://www.coterack.com/

Sounds like you guys had a great time, I am jealous. I am lucky enough to visit there often enough [my girlfriends brother lives right outside of D.C]. I have been to all the memorials and museums as well. It really is a cool place to see, so much history.

I look forward to the pictures!

A slight discrepancy has broken out between a conservative activist, the new media and a member of the old media quoted as a source for some in the new media: it’s only a matter of the whether the size of yesterday’s protest in Washington is being touted as having 940,000 more people then were actually there.

So ABC News has issued a strong statement trying to set the record straight and its likely some of the new media sites will clarify it as well. But here’s a bet: expect to hear a number way above ABC’s number on talk radio on Monday.

How could anyone get an exact head count?

Sorry but based on the photographs available including the pic you posted in the OP, there doesn't appear to be even close to a million people. I'd be highly surprised if the number topped 100,000-150,000. Still a respectable size.

What millions of people look like in DC:

And how many were there? One has to ask why do this in '09 rather than mid-2010? Nothing can come of it. Why wasn't any of the Republican leadership out there? I didn't see a one.

Frankly many of your comrades hurt your effort.

Yelling out: "We're losing our Constitutional rights."

What rights were lost? Answer me that.
