Default For all of you who like to say you support the troops

Lets start asking our elected representatives to increase our soldiers' pay and benefits.

1. Higher pay.
2. Better travel reimbursement
3. Better death benefits
4. Better retirement benefits

I am sure I am missing a lot of really important things we should be doing better for our soldiers, but hopefully this list will start a meaningful conversation about ways we can really show our support for the troops.

Those things you posted are very good starts. Here are some more.

-Investing much more money into VA programs and hospitals.

-Creating a better system for Health Care for Family Members. I cannot go to a Doctor right now b/c the one Tri-Care approved Doctor where I live in not taking any more patients. And I don't exactly live in a remote area.

-Making sure that Combat Veterans don't end up living on the streets, period.

I'll post some more as I think of them.

Default Well ...

I think that saying that you're a troop supporter is kind of like saying that you're an athletic supporter.
