President Bush is preparing to attack Iran's nuclear facilities before the end of April and the US Air Force's new bases in Bulgaria and Romania would be used as back-up in the onslaught, according to an official report from Sofia.
"American forces could be using their two USAF bases in Bulgaria and one at Romania's Black Sea coast to launch an attack on Iran in April," the Bulgarian news agency Novinite said.

The American build-up along the Black Sea, coupled with the recent positioning of two US aircraft carrier battle groups off the Straits of Hormuz, appears to indicate president Bush has run out of patience with Tehran's nuclear misrepresentation and non-compliance with the UN Security Council's resolution. President Ahmeninejad of Iran has further ratcheted up tension in the region by putting on show his newly purchased state of the art Russian TOR-Ml anti-missile defence system.

Are there any Repugnacans left on the site who think going to war with Iran is a bad idea?

Here's one. I say let Israel do it if need be. They are the ones who are mostly in danger of it. We don't need to get into another military conflict with a nation on the other side of the world. And I fear that an attack on Iran would make things worse in Iraq.

Sad to say but I am really starting to think that Bush is starting to make our country worse off because he can't handle these situations with his words. I really hope Rudy gets in there and fixes up the country the way he did NYC.

Jake the only thing that you care about is the legacy of the liar that you voted for. You have made it perfectly clear that you couldn't care less for your country just like the president that you voted for.

I care EVERYTHING for this country, and I didn't vote for Bush, because I don't vote, but wouldn't have voted for him anyway. When the facts are looked at,Bush is more liberal than conservative. Liberals are my enemy - in every way they can think of, they are destroying this country.

This story(mainly opinion) in varous forms is all over the place..I hope its true.

Been almost a decade of negotiations ..most notably the past 5 years with the EU/UN. Its all failed.

Its too the point where Iran has stated the UN is irrelvant and has no say over its affair..the EU/USA can kiss their ass..oh and the Jews they can all die.

Its clear that the Iranians will not stop their progress towards a Nuclear capability - you have then to ask the question :

Do they intend to make a bomb or are they only going to use the technology for peaceful purposes ie an energy source?

If its for peaceful purposes then they should allow UN nuclear inspectors to visit their nuclear sites - which they do not!

If its the bomb then they MUST be stopped and the sooner the better

Surgical bombing is preferred - I do not adhere to the "bomb them back to the stone age" rubbish
