Women have shown they don't fold under pressure in fighter aircraft
Women have shown capable of physically withstanding g-forces in aircraft
Women have shown they don't interfere with unit cohesion in squadrons
Women have shown that they're much more likely to be raped by the enemy.......but eh, that's not really a good enough reason to ban them.
Women haven't shown that they're any "worse" as prisoner's of war, though the media has certainly shown its willing to blatantly make up lies to build women in combat up.
Compared to Ground Combat:
Women haven't shown that in any economically feasible sense they're capable of physically holding up in combat.
Women haven't shown that they don't cause unit cohesion problems in extremely close quarters.
See the difference? Just because things were once BAD doesn't mean they'll always be BAD.
