    Not the Atlanta class?

Not sure off of the top of my head.

Atlanta class were CLAA's...two of those were lost (Atlanta & Juneau). I'm looking for the standard (Cleveland and Brooklyn-classes) CL's.

    Actually no.

The Atlanta class were officially designated 'CL', not 'CLAA'.

But I cannot answer which non-Atlanta class U.S. light cruiser was lost without looking it up.

The Helena- but I had to look it up.

The story of the Helena is pretty amazing. Thanks for pointing me to it.
The problem with marriage is that we heterosexuals are not honoring marriage sufficiently- not with homosexuals wanting to get married.

Every child a homosexual couples has is a desired child.

The story of the USS Juneau is also pretty amazing. It too was an Atlanta class light cruiser.

Does anyone remember the Sullivan brothers?

    Yes, and yes.

As I recall the story of the Sullivan brothers was an inspiration for "Saving Private Ryan" and changed military policy.
