Why not completely overthrow the governments in Iraq and Afghanistan, and place them under political and military control from the EU and USA?

That way we can ensure that the future in these countries will be without death penalty, torture and censorship and with religious freedom.

Afghanistan's current government is turning toward Taliban-style government.

We shall not allow that!

Iraq and Afghanistan should instead be vassals under the EU and USA.

It would be better if we could instill a peoples government in Iraq, and Afghanistan. If the Middle East were to see two of it's countries with an Of the People, For the People, By the People theme it would likely do much for decreasing tension and conflict in the area. U.S. and European rule over these countries in my opinion would mark us even more as the enemy, inciting more tension and backlash. Whether this can be done.... We shall see.

Also a move like that would require actually "occupying" them with crackdowns and just a hint of oppression. The American people definitly aren't down for that.
