The U.S. Military budget is 583.3 Billion Dollars, China's is 59 Billion. Basically only 10% of what the U.S. Military Budget is.

Sure it's big number's and yes, they have a lot more foot soldiers than we do, but our Air Force and Navy alone could decimate their ranks, and that's not even including what our Army and Marines could do.

Another thing is that while they're spending almost 5% of GDP on the Military, the U.S. is spending less than 4% of GDP, so that means that we can afford our military more than they can afford theirs.

The final thing about China is that the vast majority of their income comes from the U.S. and the E.U. If they ever did anything that would hurt either, they would basically kill themselves, we have the money and resources to source anything we get from them from else ware, whereas they don't have the ability to recoup lost income streams from us in any way shape or form.

I remember 20 years ago, everyone said that Japan would take over the U.S. within 20 years. Yet, back then our stock market was trading at around 2500, while Japan's was trading at around 20,000 (yen = a penny), while we rebounded and our Dow is now sitting at around 13,000, they've stagnated and their Nikkei is trading around the same as it was 20 years ago.

So much for Japan taking over the world. Same thing will happen with China. They'll have their run, they'll go up, but eventually, they can't beat out the massive economic machine that is the U.S. The U.S. has consistently beat out every other country in the world over the past 100 years, especially when we move closer to our Capitalistic Roots, (Reagan anyone), and the next 100 years will be more of the same, unless we have ultra Liberals like Obama winning, and moving us to Socialism.
