The Germans federal state Nordrhein-Westfalen has election at 9th May, 2010. Many surveys are sure, the new Anti - Islam Party can get more as 10 % of all votes. The Pro-deutschland crowd aren't calling for privatisation and the banning of trades union, so there is a slight difference there (although I wouldn't trust them not to implement Nazi anti-socialist policies given half a chance). Hitler would be proud. I am glad to see that everyone assumes that all Muslims are bad. I though us in the EU were suppose to set an example to the world on the topic of understanding others. I guess I was wrong.

This is the result of frustrated proud Germans who want to maintain some semblance of their heritage and culture, combined with lax immigration policies, and further lax concern regarding the feelings of the German people.

Germany has gone from monarchy, to reich, to democracy, to doormat. They have bent over backwards to atone for Hitler and company, and in doing so have destroyed the good of their society along with the bad. This is the danger of open borders and political correctness; it results in hyper-nationalism as the natural counter element. But if you destroy national pride because of what has been done in history, this kind of group will always rise up. And really, they aren't all wrong. You hamstring people long enough and they bite.
