The idea of having a sociological hub with people from every creed/colour coexisting together with no friction, to be honest, isnt such a bad dream.
But people get pissed off, people like me, when the scales tip to one obvious side.
My girlfriend is from America, she lived here 2 years before her and her mother and father could obtain a 2 bedroom house from a local Housing Association. Whilst all the while, Polish and Kosovan alike were sailing over here, all they had to say was

Where will I live?

You have 5 family members? Have a 4 bedroom house!

I need money

Well you can't get a job because you're
only staying here 2 years... here, apply for benefits with this!

I need to get around

Have a Mercedes!

I need glasses

Hop on the NHS bandwagon! Have free eye care!

They need to contact me

Have the latest mobile phone!
I know very well that the ones that DO work, usually work their arses off
"Oh they come here to steal our jobs" - Now that pisses me off more than anything.
Even though they work for peanuts compared to the "native population", demanding at least £7 an hour to be able to keep up our Sky TV Subscription and the petrol on our 3 car family.
If people are afraid that someone else is prepared to work harder for less wages, perhaps it is us that doesn't deserve to live in this country.[/i]
