Default The fear of terrorist acts hovered over Germany and Austria

Group warns Germany and Austria to quit Afghanistan

My god, I knew we would finish badly playing these dangerous American games in Afghanistan. I mean my country Germany and Austria. As it is said in the article, an al Qaeda-related group of Islamic terrorists that name themselves 'The Voice of Khalifate' posted a video cut on some pro-Islamist website with a call to withdraw our troops from Afghanistan to prevent their attacks against my country and Austria. You know, I'm really terrified with this news because I know they can do it. Islamic fundamentalist organizations like al Qaeda have got quite a lot of agents in Europe ready to blow up a bomb as soon as they receive an order. Chechen terrorist network, for instance, that is known to be the vanguard of global terrorism. I know that Chechens are sort of unpeople who are best at fighting and killing. Every member of the Chechen network has committed at least one terrorist attack in Iraq, Middle East or even Europe! I think that things are really serious and Angela Merkel should think carefully over the trouble and I pray God she comes to a correct decision - withdrawal of German troops from Afghanistan. For our security's sake.

Blind panic and European tribalism. I'm glad your thinking that Germany should get out of a war but not for the given reasons.

The events in Afghanistan is where the US and coalition forces have a moral superiority.

But an inadequacy of commercial interests to ensure sufficient commitment, resource or determination.

We will stay in Afghanistan long after we`ve fled Iraq but, eventually, we`ll come back having achieved little. Ultimately, the world cares about 9/11 but doesn`t give a hoot about Afghanistan or its people evidenced by the fact that, even whilst is unstable, it was put on the `back-burner` as the Iraq invasion and aftermath was prosecuted.

The Afghanis deserve better and certainly our troops, who are fighting valiantly, deserve better.
