Default RIP British Honour

The honour of Britain and its armed forces passed away peacefully today from injuries sustained in Iraq.

Quote:
In all, six soldiers were acquitted at the hearing in Bulford, Wiltshire. A seventh soldier had previously admitted one charge of inhumane treatment.

Baha Mousa, 26, was among the group of detainees. After his death, his body was found to have 93 separate injuries.

It will be dearly missed.

Default British Military honour...

...was always a myth. A perpetuated construct that inspired much foolish sacrifice/slaughter. Even Kipling learned this, though too late (for his son).

Very many astonishingly honourable people served, however, in the British Forces, over hundreds of years.
