Thread: Why are vast amounts of people getting so evil corrupt and blind without care or hope

(just visisted america, came home to canada; and felt the same mindset from its people)


I mean, why is it happening, the dumbing down of so many, and the hateful remarks they all laugh at;
what others call pessimism i call optimism, (because i care about modern day global issues)
i get called a "pus**" for crying when i find out 100 people just died in a single day(they were only "rag heads"
and the next day i have to put up with people whining over 1 star from tv who died that day
1 person is more important then an entire city to some of these people
the system is wrong; and i'm so angry
they call me crazy
for caring about human life and liberties
what has the world come to?
oh, and yes, i'm a terrorist too, i'm against my government; i could go on
slavery was abolished?

just cause its not happening in your country, as a stupid mindless drone of a consumer - putting handguns in soldiers hands; that works for a system bent on making the rich richer and the poor poorer
so you can wear your Adidas sweater and eat McDonald's
why can't people see whats going on?
and why does it make me so....i can't even say angry.....
or depressed...or even apathetic - all three at once hit me when i think about what humankind is/ has put up with as history repeats itself over and over; i'm a "terrorist" because we're willingly enslaving ourselves needlessly consuming, and letting our government kill for resources so we can take them for granted? i'm a neo-con for not believing in color?
i'm even ... insane?

it makes me sick to my stomach - and feel like crying at the same time
but none come as i lose hope in humanity day after day after day as i look around me;
and see hollow shells of what should be people,

Your post is more like an incoherent rant, but I think I understood the general theme of what you are saying. Injustice is going on all around you, people are struggling to live their lives in these times without enough decent paying jobs.
And most people do not seem to care about all the real problems. They are too busy watching televission, which is all mindless trash.

Crybaby. The world has always been a (*)(*)(*)(*)ty place. Accept it, get over it, and live your life and remember that in today's modern day, the world is in much better shape with regards ot human justice than it was just 50 years ago. I wonder how softees like you would've survived WWII and the Depression!?

Ok it is in better shape than it was, but it still has a long way to go.

The OP (is it a poem??) is right to complain and comment on what is in front of her face, though probably best to toughen up for her/his own sake.

Let me try to answer this one. Some of us see the worldwide economic shift faster than others. And these few of us take advantage of this vision, and herd (and pillage) everything in a newly found greed to protect the self for a while. But I think there is no worry, because on the mid-to-long run everyone's investments are a function of everyone's economic contribution, so if that is slim, the greediest herder looses its value too. (HAHAHA)
