Thread: Netherlands: Gov. Wants To Deport Teenager Mauro Manual

Meet Mauro Manual, he's an 18 y.o. teenager orginally from Angola and he came to the Netherlands when he was 10 y.o., he has lived with his fostercare parents for about 8 years in Southern Limburg.

He speaks perfect Dutch -- he even has a slight Limburgs accent (LOL!). Netherlands has invested fiercly in this boy's education, etc. He certainly is an asset for the country. In short, he is nothing less than a Dutchman!

How outrageous that CDA (Christian-Democrat) Minister of Immigration and Asylum, Mr. Gerd Leers, wants to deport him because he has reached legal adulthood!

How utterly ludicrous!

Anyways, a recent poll says that 74% of CDA-supporters doesn't agree with Minister Leers. About 60% of VVD (Liberals -- DutchClog voted for them) voters doesn't agree with Leers, and 59% of PVV voters (= Geert Wilders' party) think that Mauro should be granted citizenship.

And I agree with them, he should be "granted" citizenship, ASAP!

Shame on Netherlands -- CDA-leadership is going crazy!

I want him in. plenty of trash to deport but he is not one of them

He is at school, has no criminal record, is well integrated a role model if you like.

Out of so many people you want out they have to pick the decent ones.

The problem naturally is where do you place the line, if you make an exception for him scores of bad behaving thugs will also demand to stay.
