Poland refuses OSCE election monitors
The Polish government has refused a request to let OSCE election observers monitor its elections on 21 October. Polish foreign minister Anna Fotyga said that Poland is a "stable democracy" and she considers a request by the OSCE to send observers to the upcoming elections as "inappropriate".
How do you like it, huh? I hope it is clear that Poland's reject throws suspicion on OSCE itself! That's a bad trick of Poland, I would say! I heard that Poland's refuse mothered impeachment of the veracity and objectiveness of both OSCE and Polish ruling elite. At the same moment, the reject played a low-down trick to Ukrainian democrats. I will explain. As you may know, parliamentary elections here held in Ukraine last Sunday. It is also a well-known fact that the OSCE represents the opinion of the whole Europe that is sort of not indifferent to Ukraine's "orange" politicians like Timoshenko and Yushchenko. If you take into account that a vast majority of Ukrainians got deeply dissatisfied with the "triumphators of the orange revolution" through the past three years, you will see that in case OSCE's observers estimate Timoshenko's Block victory, it may raise serious doubts of the world society in respect of OSCE's rectitude and justness of Ukrainian elections! You'll see it will!
