Most do not even understand what quality of live is all about, the world today is run by materialistic primitives who believe that the quality of life can be measured by such things as social security and pro capita income, they are obviously wrong, for animals in a zoo are not more happy because they have social security, free health care, a free ride, it's the reworse! Hey, Examiner...I think that ranking is about Freedom in the Press, which is probably pretty accurate. They rank it a few different things, like availibility of information, etc.

They dont hang pot smokers in Sinagpore, like many south east asian countries, they give the death penalty to drug dealers and smugglers, users basically get a slap on the wrist. In the USA, we actually put teenager pot smokers in jail...now that is uncalled for.

How can anyone jusge the quality of life in the USA as being the best in the world? Many states are suffering from a shortage of water. The current crisis between Alabama, Floriduh & Georgia should be taken into account, as should Colorado & Nevada in regards to acces to a a water supply.

you completely failed to understand the point I was making. At the moment, most of the PhD graduates in science & engineering in American universities are not American.

The "kick the foreigners out" attitude since 9/11 is only strengtheing European Universities.

If European universities are better than American Universities, why are there an non American students in American Universities?

It seems that European universities would be geographically closer to most non American students.
