I went to school for awhile in an actual German school and they covered WWII very much in-depth, including pictures of concentration camps, etc ... that was not the impression I got from German public schools at all.

I hate Nazis, but I love Germany. They are different and the reasons why the Nazis came to power in Germany are very well documented and understood. The German people have moved on from this period of their history.

I served in Germany I was stationed in Bad Kissengen for 3 years and then Aschaffenburg
for 3 more , I found the people very pleasent and the chicks were great looking! I never saw any signs of nazis or Bad people , most Germans seemed okay with Americans

I am of German ancestory on my Dad's side of the family. He fought in WWII against the Nazis. I think it is best to move on from that, learn from it, and remain allies with the Germans. Hitler was evil, Germany is not evil.
