Default Britain welcomes .....

Britain welcome President elect John McCain

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/7305731.stm

Quote:
McCain has said nations with "common values" must work together
Quote:
We thank the prime minister and the British people for the enormous service and sacrifice of the men and women of the military, both in Iraq and Afghanistan
While the Dems are bickering at home, the fine John McCain can show himself to World leaders as President elect.

I am very pleased he is committed to staying the distance in Iraq.

Hopefully McGrampa won't get the Catholics and Protestants mixed up like he did with the Sunnis and Shiites.

Well the main thing is he also met the next prime minister of Great Britain, David Cameron. With a massive lead in the polls he already looks home and hosed, could do with an election tomorrow!

Yeah McCain honors our Allies... Democrats just belittle them.

Alongside the pictures of Mr. McCain and his fellow prisoners, a plaque declared:
-- "Though having committed untold crimes on our people, the American pilots suffered no revenge once they were captured and detained. Instead, they were treated with adequate food, clothing and shelter."---

Shaking his head, Mr. McCain muttered, "That's entertainment."

John McCain will never betray our soldiers to defeatists nor will he belittle our Allies who fight with us.

David Cameron is a disgrace to the Conservative Party. Even though I am not a Tory, I can recognise that Cameron is selling out traditional Conservative values in order to cater for the Lib Dem vote. All though this is typical of Politics, the last thing Britain needs is another member of the 'Landed Gentry' in charge. tories all over Britain should be disgraced at him and rightly they are.

It's good that McCain is visiting American allies, gives a good face to his campaign I think.

Given the nature of 'traditional Conservative values', it's hard to be disappointed at their disappearance.
