You'll have to forgive me, I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to the EU - I'd like to stand as an MEP at the Euro elections after these ones.

Amen, this country really needs to rid itself of this Xenophobic 'Empire' mindset.

Fed up with right wingers moaning about how foreigners nick their jobs. No they don't. They just do it better and work harder. If you get two blokes coming to you for the same job, both speak english, one is say Slovakian and has a Degree and the other is English and dropped out after A-levels which one are you gonna pick? The answer is so obvious I'm not gonna state it. The fact is if there's someone who can do the job better than you then they deserve it regardless of their nationality.

The thing that really gets my goat about parties like the BNP is that they want immigrants paid less and then complain about them 'taking our jobs.' The fact is that if companies have to pay the same to everyone then their incentive to hire immigrants is reduced - there's no financial incentive on the wage expenditure front.

If people spent less time moaning and got their arses in gear many would find themselves far better off. In conclusion, the economy cannot run without immigrants, they do many of the jobs we don't want to, some are doctors, nurses and teachers - people we need. The fact is that you cannot discriminate about allowing someone to work just because there is lower demand for their job. The crucial word here is 'work.' People don't come here to claim benefits, they come here to work.

as a citizen of the united states all i can say after reading through all your post is...is it really that bad? I mean we have extremest in the united states but they are mostly ignored but you actually have groups that get votes in general elections that promote racial purity? Wasnt that hitlers bag?!?! Yes it really is this bad in some areas of the country. I have to emphasise however before you take away that Brits are racist muppets that many vote BNP as a protest or as a vote for the past. This country is far more liberal than the US and therefore we are far more likely to get these groups than you are. Being European and thus very ethnically varied does not help either.

i would hate to have to go to war fighting are stuanchest allies because they let hitler number 2 into power. That and the fact that invading the island would be a god (*)(*)(*)(*) (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) of an attack! o and that little thing about you all not having been conquered since...the romans was it?

Let me say that we in the BNP will be the first to defend our country against anyone,including the USA.
Of course this will not happen but thought you need to realise we in the BNP are VERY patriotic and we love our country more than most.
And as for the racist tag you wont find us ever accepting this to be true.

however, acceptance is not always the same as the true facts. If you look at the BNP's history Billy, you WILL see that the BNP is a splinter of the NF going back years.

Now like I've said. I'm prepared to believe that many who vote BNP are not racist and simply use the party as a protest vote but the party itself IS a racist far-right party. It is the politics of poverty and fear. The politics of people who fear immigrants because working immigrants will put the trailer trash at the bottom of the social ladder whereas before they were the only group below them.

To me the solution is clear and is advancing right now. Sort the immigrant issues and you rid this nation of the overtly far-right parties in any meaningful form. Having said that, immigration is coming down rapidly, currently at the same rate as 1998, down some 43% due to the Government's draconian immigration measures. This is a good thing in some ways. A right wing media does not help the conduction of a proper debate on the issue because the words 'asylum seeker' have now become synonamus with 'bogus.'

Immigration is necessary for the economy and for growth. The people we should acting on are those who live on benefits, NOT asylum seekers. If you look at Home Office figures, over 80% of asylum seekers are under 35. I.E. WORKING AGE. They can claim benefits in their own countries. They come here for work. Deal with the British scroungers, stop reading the gutter press, take an informed opinion and stop blaming immigrants for everything.

In short; I blame the press

LOL, I love it when people get onto the topic of EU/UK vs US. If the US decided they didn't like and/or need us, they would annhilihate us in a matter of hours, there would be no need for an invasion. What do you think the US has been doing in their UK bases since the end of WW2? Having a picnic? I don't think so. They know where to hurt us. We wouldn't stand a chance. Patriotism hasn't got anything to do with it. We would have to surrender in a matter of days or get eliminated from the face of the earth.
