I bet if I were so inclined, I could waste a few hours of my life compiling a bunch of sexist and misogynistic quotes from men in power. Heck, I bet some of the feminist women came to their beliefs because of sexism and its ilk. Women who hate men and men who hate women are the fringe... nothing more. The squeaky wheel...

We don't have this sub species here .

So tolerant of those alternate lifestyles in fact that Sharia Law is almost the governing rule of your society. Good luck with that.

I distance myself from feminism for several reasons.

Firstly: It's more commonly associated with anti-masculism (I just made that term up, guess the meaning) then with actual equality.

Secondly: It really has no goal anymore in the west. There are no, in my country atleast, laws that specifically prohibits women from doing certain things. I wouldn't be suprised if there were some laws giving special priviledges to women though..

Thridly: The name! it suggests an ideology who's primary goal is to promoto womanliness! Replace that with manliness and you see how ridiculous it sounds. And it's not a fitting name if one goal is equality.

Fourth: The left-wing taint..

It's a badly named political anachronism whose original purpose has long been fulfilled and has since been hijacked by man-hating old ladies!

And just for the records, I'm for actual equality between the sexes.

Unfortunately, it seems modern day feminism is more about trying to impose a cultural on young boys, emphasising "feminine" qualities, and rejecting "masculine" qualities. I think this is a big mistake, and will no doubt have unintended (negetive) consequences in the relationships between the two sexes.

Indeed. Here in the socialistic feminist paradise of sweden we are teaching our lads to play with barbie's and dress in skirts while at the same time importing lot's of homophobic muslims. Great combo I tell ya!

Boys want to play with toy soldiers and shoot at each other, girls want to play with dolls and such. I'm may be generalizing it a bit but it's mostly true. Let boys be boys and girls be girls, forcing them to deny their nature in the name of some social engineering dream is madness.

Isn't this what happened in Department of Homeland Security. Lesbos thought they had the upper hand. and they showed they ugly selves. I guess that's what happens when you put these types of people in control. Big Sis and her galpals. Disgraceful and totally expected.
