Are the Roma in that guestimation? And why another memorial? Is that what the Greek austerity measures are paying for? http://livingingreece.gr/2010/05/02/greece-new-austerity-measures/
And you're done, you didn't know (*)(*)(*)(*) about the Wannassee Protocol, and you don't know (*)(*)(*)(*) about basic WW2 history which is probably why you are a freaking holocaust negationist in the first place: German Declaration of War with the United States: December 11, 1941 http://fcit.usf.edu/holocaust/resource/document/DECWAR.htm The U.S. Declaration of War against Germany did not come until after Germany declared war on the U.S., On December 11, 1941, the United States Congress declared war upon Germany, in response to that nation's declaration of war following the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.[1] Text of the declaration Whereas the Government of Germany has formally declared war against the Government and the people of the United States of America: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_declaration_of_war_upon_Germany_(1941) Once again the holocaust deniers don't know (*)(*)(*)(*) about (*)(*)(*)(*). Um no we denied them access to our rubber and our oil to fuel their genocidal war effort against mainland China, they were at no point incapable of feeding their people. Once again you<<mod edit>> flaming expect us to buy it, but unfortunately for you I'm actually well versed in ACTUAL history. Were they parts of Germany before WW1? Which parts? Maps? Historical documents? Any sources whatsover?
I take it this is about the Roma memorial. Good thread, that last one, only two deleted posts, from a subject like that, which ran to 600 posts - I felt that was positive. Now, where did I get to. I was trying to look at Roma culture today, so we could get a measure of what they are like... Listen to the premise of this idea, and tell me if you feel it has merit, or not. Broadly true, but in this case, I beg to differ. I think that footage was from Slovakia, anyway, you cannot just live as a community, unless you are either wiling to contribute to the nation, or you are self sufficient, within said communty. As far as I can see there, those Romany are neither. £200mill a year, from the EU budget, just to sustain that? And for what? So that for evermore, they can go on living in a way that they are not self sufficient, nor contributing anything to the nation? Of course people are going to resent that, why would they not? Why not give their kids a proper future, and educate them? Even one of the dad's speaking there, could see merit in that. Then they would have an education, and a chance at bettering themselves, and contributing something. I actually think it is a good gesture, after all, they are not even being asked to pay. So, their kids would get a really good education, in a boarding school, for free, as an investment in them. Human rights doesn't come into it, really. They do not go to school, they truant all the time. All kids here are legally obligated to attend school. A boarding school environ would lend itself to no truancy, among Roma kids, and a better future for them, and it would also mean that mainstream society did not need prop them up, forever.
God (*)(*)(*)(*) did you guys see how many Jews Stalin and Mussolini killed? Don't get me started on the Bulgarians and Ukrainians!! It wasn't all Hitler. Europeans in general just don't seem to like Jews. We get it.
What does this have to do with Romany? I thought the thread was a continuation of that. Stop whining on about Jews being persecuted, let someone else have their 15 mins of fame.
There's already a Holocaust memorial and museum, that takes up 4.7 acres in the heart of Berlin. I can't imagine how expensive that was. The government spent nearly €1 billion on that if I remember correctly. Why does a special new memorial have to be built for the Roma? Is it because the Jews need their own separate museum?? What does that say about modern-day Germany that each different ethnicity needs their own separate memorial?
For there to be a Roma Holocaust, the killing has to be carried out by Romas, because the definition of Holocaust is a burnt offering of your own sheep, unless Romas are closely related to the killers, as was the case of British and American fliers who fire bombed their relatives in Germany. See Leviticus 1 in the Duoay Bible 1609. Abraham offering his son would have been a holocaust.
Most don't. In fact, racism against Gypsies in a lot of Europe is basically accepted or even approved of.
The number of deniers from the UK at this site seems to grow by the month. Thankfully, most continental Europeans seem to have more sense than that.
Why do you assume they collectively do? It may well be some faceless bureucrats in Brussels write them a cheque every year, but the EU suits are not the people. Also, it will depend on the country. I have never met any true Romany, therefore, they are not people I think of, too often, one way or the other. Go to parts of E Europe, they may have more reason to. Then there are those who just bandwagon jump, wring their hands, because it is the latest thing to make them or their country 'look good'.

The more it happens, the more it lends credence to the idea that the growing Islamic population is shifting certain perceptions among British citizens. Quite a few Islamic cultures harbor odd superstitions about Jews. My brother befriended a Moroccan for a while, and as he learned more about Islam from him, he noticed that the guy had some very strange assumptions about Jews. These didn't seem like isolated views but rather views born out of certain religious viewpoints. Not surprisingly, quite a few Christians harbored similar prejudices about Jews only a few decades ago.
Rest assured the EU deniers are all older neo-nazi folks. As you can see by our laws and the memorial, they don't run the show, much to their collective hand-wringing-foaming-at-the-mouth-impotent despair. Must hurt to feel the victim of your own leadership.
Do you hate old people? Anyway, this is about Romany. Any thoughts there? How did you feel about the bording school idea?
