Darn it, anyway!!!!

But, then again, you helped a family get needed shelter...not a bad day, at all, I'd say.

It starts with the static universe theory and ends with a Big Bang.

    - - - Updated - - -

I understand your tactic of taking the Genesis story literally and showing scientific impossibilities, but how did the Universe begin? How did life on Earth begin?

It could have been one of the best produced, best special effects and best acting shows of all time and I bet you'd still say it sucked.

I actually feel sorry for atheists, especially arrogant ones. So damned full of themselves and so sure it is all fiction. Of course, I kinda feel the same toward arrogant bible thumpers too.

I'm not ashamed to say I really don't know the truth when it comes to God or no God because the truth is, no one really knows. God hasn't been proven, or disproven to date.

I'm well, well aware of those who believe and all the stories as to why. I'm also aware of the opposite view and their why's. Both ends can be rationalized to death and it still doesn't prove a thing.

Just because a tv show does well in ratings is not proof of God, or proof of anything other than enough people found it interesting enough to watch.

Public interest is a fickle (*)(*)(*)(*)(*).

I wasn't even aware of the existence of this program...

Then again, I've pretty much left History Channel alone, since the majority of their programming that I see on the guide anymore is not history-related, but, repetitive crap like Pawn Stars (which I find boring now), and, Swamp People...

Also, it'd take a pretty impressive show to draw me away from The Walking Dead...

are you gonna say a diety/god or other who is written/believed to have created all you see around us is limited to what he/she/it can do because of what we are limited too???

If there is a heaven, which would have been around long before any Sun or star, are you saying heaven didnt have light before a god created a sun lol???

if there is a god that did in fact create all this, then it created science and everything you believe in and it will not be limited by what you or anyone believes in their feeble minds that couldnt even comprehend such a power lol. a god doesnt live by our rules or science, it makes the rules lol.

Whatever you say dude, but it has NOTHING to do with this

In the program they do infact say that plants were fromed on the 3rd day, and the sun on the 4th day.

AS for silly red herring, I don't give a rats ass what your Vatican nonsense says, The Earth revolved around the Sun. While it orbits the Sun, it rotates on its axis making one complete rotation every 24 hours. Thus giving us evening and mornings. YOU CANNOT HAVE MORNINGS AND EVENING WITH OUT T HE SUN GIVING US LIGHT!

The show is done very well. I really enjoyed the first part. Can't wait for Sunday to watch the next one.

The angels that went to Sodom really kicked some ass.

Not at all. I think the Passion of the Christ was amazingly well done and a great movie. Amazing how a scant day in someone's life can be turned into a movie like that.

Yeah, the show kind of sucked. I did like Vikings though.

I really was hyped about Vikings, but turned out to be crap. You can't even understand what the actors are saying.

    More like evil beats evil.

The so-called "good" God of the Bible who triumphs in the end is same guy who commanded his followers to commit ethnic cleansing on cities, kill the men, women, and children, except for the virginal girls who were to be taken as sex slaves. In what world is such a being "good"?

It is true, not only do they share themes, they borrow entire stories. Just like the bible borrowed themes and stories from earlier Near Eastern myths. Jesus is a good example of this. There were myths of virgin births, Resurrection myths, son of god myths, death for the salvation of others myths. Others healed the sick and raised the dead. People like familiar stories, and they reproduce them over and over again. No surprise really.

English with a deep accent the actors were using is tricky.

I don't understand if your going to have the actors speak in English, why is it in a British accent done Norwegian style? I never understood that in movies.

    - - - Updated - - -

So space or time didn't exist, yet some how the big bang happened anyway. How could time have not existed? wow
