"The Bible" Leads ALL SHOWS in Sunday Night's Ratings

The History channel presentation "The Bible" was being pumped on church tv for weeks. I saw Joel and Victoria Osteen sitting on stage with Burnett and that goofy british broad often.
I was channel surfing and saw iut several times over the week before it aired.

You can go on TV and tell one of those delusional jesus persons to watch anything, and they will.

I noticed that benny hinn is selling the video of him and his wife renewing vowels that they broke the first time.
He wants 25 bucks for you to buy a video of his wedding re-run.
25 bucks a pop, times one million jesus satans = 25 million dollars.

 

And "The Bible" sets ratings records....

 

Believing in fairytales is big business. Why do you think they fight so hard againts Evolution?

 

The Bible describes, in detail ,what you try to call "evolution". It takes far more "faith" to accept the soul-less monkey spawn view, than creation...where everything came from nothing,and creatures spawned completely different creatures than themselves.

I would suggest you learn what the ToE actually posits as well as familiarize yourself with the tomes of scientific evidence that supports it. The modern synthesis of Evolutionary theory is a product of the scientific method, the bible is not.

I caught an episode last night...

It wasn't terrible, though the acting was kinda weak...

I just couldn't really get into it because, well, I've read the Bible several times, and, for lack of a better way to describe it, it just came off as a story I've heard so many times that I just don't want to watch it...

Honestly, a lot of that is probably due to the acting...

If that were better, I'd probably find it more interesting...

That's because europeans love to pretend they are the chosen ppl and this piece of hollywood fiction is right up their street. Our culture is utterly saturated by this kind of false media.

 

I think the acting is very good - I imagine it will break more Sunday prime time records. NBC could use the hint, as they are 5th in the ratings, behind ABC, CBS, etc. They haven't changed their losing format for years, why change it now?
