Oh, this is the best the liar in the white house can do? Amazing 50% of America is actually that stupid to vote for him twice. http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politic...-people-signed-up-for-obamacare-on-first-day/ Just six people successfully enrolled in health insurance plans through the new federal marketplace, HealthCare.gov, on the first day it went live, according to internal Obama administration notes released tonight by the House Oversight Committee. A message from Obama to his "useful idiots"
Six is my lucky number so this is very good indeed. I posted a bit from Cruella Sebelius' CNN interview three weeks into the roll out. After many bobs and weaves, she said they had 'thousands' signed up. I took it to mean almost exactly 2,000 and by no means 10,000. That makes the first day of six quite believable. You go, girl! Only 6,997,994 more to sign up.
That's OK, by day 3 they had a massive 248 enrollees since the 1st.... No wonder they are hiding the truth.
This was obvious to anyone. They HAD to have the actual number. It's THE metric. When it's suppressed it can only be because it's epic fail. Sadly, it was very much worse than their harshest critics could have assumed.
Obamacare enrollments got off to very slow start, documents show - CBS News this is why HHS refuses to tell us enrollment numbers they are pathetic they are next to nothing they need 7 million to sign up to keep insurance cost what is being offered now, because the 7 million is the figure given to insurance companies so to set a price on their plans. if they don't meet the 7 million goal rates will have to be increased so less will sign up or drop out and cause the rates to go up again and what you will have is called a health insurance death spiral
Maybe they will kick all the fed employees off their cushy plans & make them sign up on the exchg? Nah, that's not gonna happen. This plan was designed for the peons, not the elite. 6 people, huh?
Hundreds of millions spent on a website, and it is a complete failure. Just more proof that government screws everything up at many times the cost that the private sector can do better for way less. Nice waste of taxpayer dollars. When is Obama going to resign? He is completely incompetent, and so it his entire Administration.
Well, lets see... On the first day they claim the site had 4,700,000 unique viewers and enrolled a total of 6. That, despite all the extensive and expensive advertisement, equates to a success rate of 0.00012. Assuming no one else was a unique viewer, day two had 242 new enrolls; a whopping .0015% success rate. Today, even though we have those numbers, HHS hasn't undated them...they won't release the total enrollment numbers which seems a little odd given these folks aren't shy about telling us they are the best and brightest among us, so bright in fact, that they can decide what is and isn't affordable for us and know what insurance plan is best for each and everyone of us, too. Seems they have the attitude they're running a daycare center and we're just the unruly children they have to control....for our own good, of course!
As many here said during all the silence....the numbers HAD to be terrible, or Obama would ahve been on everyones TV touting the success. Millions and Millions of Americans they claimed......people knew it was a crapshoot. 6 People. Throw the economy further in the tank for something that noone wanted.
it doesn't matter people are going to sign up for Medicaid (free) people who have been dumped thanks to the ACA will sign up as they have no choice If you knock down everyone's home, and then anoint yourself the only contractor in the land, it's easy to see an increase in home starts this number is a bad idea to track because it's going to surge. The real number should be how many more are now on the public dole and how much more are the productive people paying for insurance
hahahahahhaa this is the funniest thing I have seen. I saw that last night. Way to go Obama, you really spent those trillions of dollars well.
I'm pretty sure this is due to the website being a piece of (*)(*)(*)(*) rather than no one wanting to sign up. I mean either way it's pathetic, but I don't think it speaks to a lack of interest.
George Will's on to a very big problem Democrats are going to be facing in the upcoming elections - 93 million people losing the HC plans they were promised they could keep to extend handouts to a fraction of that number.
I read somewhere that they need 39,000 people per day signing up for the program between now and the end of the enrollment period in order to make this economically feasible. It won't happen until the penalties are stiff enough, within the next several years.
It's not just possible, but highly likely that more people will lose their coverage than sign up for ObamaCare. Rove had some state by state numbers yesterday. I forget the exact details, but as of about Oct 16th - the 20th or so, ND had about 20 enrollees, Oregon had 0, and the other states in the teens or less. One insurance exec estimated that nationwide, ObamaCare had probably enrolled about 2,000 or so for the month of October, or maybe 5,000 at most. Not exactly what you would call a good month at the office for ObamaCare; considering roughly 2 million or so individuals have already been dumped off of their current plans.
Tell me, why would ANYONE want to sign up for insurance that doubles out of pocket and deductibles? Those 6 had to be on Obama's payroll - no one else is that stupid, not even Liberals.
(*)(*)(*)(*) we already have that. If his lips are moving, Obama is lying. - - - Updated - - - MOST people who will sign up for this currently nave NO insurance, so how could their expenses double? I'm not saying that just signing a bunch of people up for free insurance is a solution to our problem, it isn't , but the ones who are going to sign up for this, aren't going to see their deductibles double.
Do you mean to tell, there are insurance options that do not increase, or do not have any deductible? Where... WHHERREE???? *charges for the computer.....
We can all be thankful that the worst glitches have been sorted out. The site is still glitchy but it's working, and hundreds of thousands more Americans can finally get the accessible healthcare that they deserve.
