How long will it take the left to assail Mia Love's character?

If she says a bunch of insanely stupid and offensive things like Sarah than yea, she will.

Liberals hate these people the most because they believe that all black people, every single one of them, have to be liebral and a slave to the liberals and to the democratic party.

It appears to me that she is pretty smart, and all the right breaks came her way, and she know how to take advantage of them.

Her election obviously had little to do with race, in and of itself. I doubt that most people in Utah gave it much thought.

The GOP put her on the stage in a national convention in 2012, when they were desperate to appear diverse. So many great politicians got their first real national attention in speaking opportunities like this. FDR in 1924, Hubert Humphrey in 1948, JFK in 1956, Ronald Reagan in 1964, and Barack Obama in 2004.

Watching her speech (which was a pretty typical party line talking points speech) was interesting. She projects well. Of course, as with most of the minorities the GOP dug up and put on state in 2012, they faced a lilly white audience.

Love has little more political experience than Sarah Palin did when she gave that speech. She had a better record as a town mayor though. And she clearly isn't given to saying stupid nonsense to entertain the red state television audience.

She appears to be smart, and hopefully very capable.

Let's see how she does. She's already outperformed Palin when it comes to real leadership.

For the obvious reason that such things are quite important to Democrats and I think she is not a big deal but a minor one that could become a large one because of the holes it punches in the nonsensical assumption that all us conservatives are racist.

 

I do have to wonder how a black person can embrace a religion that, up until 1978, didn't really allow black people fully into its fellowship.

America was moving away from racism but the left can't tolerate that. They need racism and other divisive strategies to make up for wanting to "fundamentally change" the country.

 

Because the right sees race first......they have a conservative black woman in Congress so you will see her everywhere. They will treat her like your braggadocios neighbor who buys a new car and leaves it in the driveway for all to see. The GOP will use her and when she is challenged they will say "all liberals are racist".
