    The only thing I can think of is that there must not be too many black folk up in Montana or something and thats why this was believable to them.

    And the myth that Barack Obama, whose mother is white, is a black man has worked out quite well for him and his race-baiting supporters, too.

    Now, this is what I don't get - if a little boy can be a girl, why can't a white woman be a black or biracial woman?

    What will be interesting to watch is the reaction to this revelation by the NAACP. Obviously, you don't have to be black to support and facilitate the 'Advancement of Colored People'. If the NAACP does not come to her defense and keep her in her current position (assuming she's been doing a good job there), then that will be pretty telling about their own motives as an organization.

    It reminds me of the Dave Chapelle show episode where he is a blind man who thinks he's white. But he's actually black. And he refers to all black people as N(@(@rs. And then finds out he is black, and divorces his wife because she loved a black man.

    Why? The NAACP has many White members, and there is no racial barrier to their serving in leadership positions. Many of its founders were White.

    Well hell, we have "gender identity" that apparently anyone can choose to be what they want, so why not "racial identity", everyone...just pick what race you want to be today.

    "It’s very sad that Rachel has not just been herself,” her mother, Ruthanne Dolezal, told the Spokesman-Review, revealing that Rachel began to "disguise herself" as a black woman in 2006 or 2007 after the family adopted four African-American children. “Her effectiveness in the causes of the African-American community would have been so much more viable, and she would have been more effective if she had just been honest with everybody.”

    Her father, Lawrence Dolezal, said his daughter was a part of a "racial reconciliation community" while at Belhaven University, according to The Washington Post. She then applied to Howard University, a predominantly African-American institution, to study art, submitting “exclusively African American portraiture." The school “took her for a black woman” and she received a full scholarship. At Howard, she "assimilated into that culture so strongly that that’s where she transferred her identity.”

    This woman is just misunderstood. She deserve a pass for lying.

    What's the problem !! If Bruce Jenner can be a woman, do we draw the line that he must be a white woman ? I would love to see him test those waters. Maybe start wearing a dress and blackface. It may be funny, but I am serious. To borrow from another, why can't this Spokane woman be "trans-black" ?

    More importantly,it is apparent that the city of Spokane hired this person for whatever nonsense position because of her race, not her abilities. And now she is no-longer-acceptable because she can't get a pass like Fauxahontas Elizabeth Warren on her race !! So now we can fire "black" folks because we at first thought they were white, but closer review ended up revealing some quantity of the black blood, if I may loosely refer to old laws.
