And here is the proof; http://on.msnbc.com/248p1XV It's like the old saying goes, "you get what you pay for in life. And a vote for Donald Trump, is a vote to get nothing for your money, and for someone you couldn't give away if you tried, once you bought it. If the Trump supporters can't read between these lines, and see what it is they are buying, then shame on them. But don't say you haven't been warned. I mean think about it; you have a Republican nominee running for president who at one time wished the economy would tank at a time when we were becoming vulnerable, for his own personal gain, and there are people out there right now, today, who would actually vote for this (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) of a human being. Go figure! This is a phenomenon, the likes of I personally have never seen before or understand. Trump was right about one thing. He could go down Fifth Avenue shooting people in the streets, and his sheep would still vote for him.
Lest we forget that the housing bubble and the way it burst devastating millions of american families, and the fact that wall street manufactured the bubble and made trillions off of it and no one went to jail and no one paid a meaningful penalty - all these things were the responsibility of the ruling elite including Hillary, not American businessmen who were smart enough to buy low. But hey, let's look at the bright side, the Wall Street bankers who profited from the housing bubble could afford to pay Hillary $200,000/hr in speech fees so it wasn't all bad.
So? Do you need a sugar daddy taking care of you? Why do you need the President to care about you? Why are you not taking care of your own business such that who is President is largely irrelevant, let alone whether or not they "care" about you is relevant?
Lol! You should have taken that initiative about a year ago. As for myself, the number was dialed the second I found out.
The good thing about your post is, if you had a counter argument in support of Trump, you must have kept it hid in your back pocket, but were too ashamed to post it here. It must (*)(*)(*)(*) to be a Trump supporter, when your only game in town is to go after someone else.
Sugar daddy? The man was a cheerleader for my good fortunes to fail. With or without his cheer leading I can't say I was ever looking for a sugar daddy. Good point! Then why would I want him as president? Largely irrelevant? Really? So, a president Trump knows the nuclear codes, and he is irrelevant?
Trump did what businessmen do, he bought low and sold high. He is not responsible for the housing bubble, politicians are. Hillary and her Wall Street masters were up to their ears in it. Wall Street manufactured the housing bubble in front of her eyes but for the bargain price of $200,000/hr she was more than happy to look the other way while americans were thrown out of their houses and then make sure that none of her corporate masters went to jail or paid any meaningful fine.
If Donald Trump truly cared about nobody but himself then he wouldn't be running for President of the U.S. He'd be a 'behind the scenes puppet-master' like George Soros. Georgie has all the power with scant scrutiny.
You can argue that everyone in the billionaire class, Trump included, gamed the political system. I think that's a very fair and legitimate point the Liberals raised. If only they could raise more points like that. Of course, I do happen to also agree with the counter argument that as an investor, Trump is allowed to donate to whomever he wants, when he wants, etc. If we want reform, that reform should come from Congress. But who wants to bet that a Democratic Congress will do nothing? Especially since Goldman Sachs is in their pocket.
Yes...and to further add, Barney Frank, Nancy Pelosi and the rest of the complicit Democratic crowd that would not listen to George W. Bush when he went before congress more than twenty times warning of the impending collapse. But nonono..... Barney ( Feather Lip ) Frank assured everyone that the associated programs including Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac programs were just fine.
Any developer will tell you that pay-offs are part of the government bureaucracy's political game. This is because government regulations have expanded and are now part of the market only, government regulations are not subject to competition so, they unduly influence the free market. Trump recognizes this and has said so. It actually surprised me that he would admit to be a crony government entity. I think he understands how deleterious the government is to the free market. I think the LAST thing he or any developer wants to do is have to 'pay off' local government development agencies.
Yes, the political system is set up to be gamed. That's how politicians get $$$$. Trump did play the system and became a billionaire. He readily admits this and has said he's going to eliminate useless government agencies that always have to be 'paid off.' The EPA is one I hope he eliminates or drastically cuts. I wish the congress would do nothing except provide for a national defense and build a frickin border!!
Somehow you missed that Trump has a deep need to be in front of the camera. Listen to him talk about himself. He's all about his huge fingers, his huge bank account, his huge popularity, his huge hotels his beautiful women, etc., etc. Being a total narcissist in a back room is just not the same as doing it on national TV.
Says the guy and Trump himself who know nothing about Pocahontas; http://on.msnbc.com/1U9SDP3 Lol! Trump, what an (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) and a racist, who just offended all native Americans.
And I am not responsible for his attitude toward me. He is. And if that is his attitude towards me, then what good is he to me? Lol! You and some of these others on here straining to stay on topic. The weaknesses you folks have. - - - Updated - - - Just like your off topic comments.
OMG, MSNBC talking for all of the native-Americans who are on the rez. What you and MSNBC got right, comparing Pocahontas to a socialist progressive wannabe injun like Pocahontas Warren is a disgrace to all Powhatan's.
So? Obama is a narcissist too yet, somehow it's 'OK' for him? Why? So he's (Trump) got a huge bank account, huge popularity, huge hotels and beautiful women...To me that's even more reason to vote for him...He is the living embodiment of our Capitalistic system. $100, 000, 000 from his dad...he turned it into at least 10 to 20 BILLION!!!! Talk about a return on investment!!! What did Obama ever do...What has Hillary done? What has Bernie Sanders done?????? Nothing, zilch, zero except suck on the government teat. (a.k.a. known as We The People's tax dollars)
Well Ms. Quixote let's address that. First of all, the irony was clear in his accusations against another poster when he did the same thing by starting this ridiculous thread. I left a short response because I assumed most people would be able to see the obvious relation. Secondly, anyone who has ever purchased anything below market value is guilty of the same thing. People in need of money sell possessions at a much reduced cost. I'm sure you've never purchased something well below market value? Thirdly, as others have pointed out, Mr. Trump was not the cause or the source of the problem. For that you simply need to look to the presumed democratic nominee to see who is responsible, as an example of those who are guilty.
Better to be talking "for" them than against them, right? Like who's left? That's right, just a bunch of Right-wing wacko Trump racists hating the native Americans.
Lol! His comments were much more about what he was wishing for. That the economy would crash, so he could buy below market and make a profit for himself. In other words he wished bad on everyone else, so he could gain. It's real cute how you throw it all off as an economic lecture. Sorry, but this is a thread about very bad intentions by Trump. Not his business philosophy. That was his business philosophy. To wish everyone else would fail, while the economy crashed. With a president like that, who needs enemies?
