The report was generated in the intelligence community. At some point someone gave it to someone they shouldn't have. It ended up in oppo research of both camps, and the media. However the media chose not to report on it because it was completely baseless... Until they did. You are aware there is an investigation into these leaks, right? It isnt just this... There is the russian hacking classified material shared with the wapo, etc. There seems to be a concerted effort to make good on the threats by intel officials... And a greatbdeal of hand wringing on the left hoping they do, ready to defend it.

    My, that sounds horrible.

However, I have to disagree with your interpretation of events.

The report has been floating around for months, that is true, but to claim, as (*)(*)(*)(*)wit Van Orangeface did that the report was leaked to the media by intelligence agencies strikes me as a specious, spurious, unfounded charge by a man slowly realizing most folks think him a raging moron.

Eh, maybe it was a threat, but until we know that Schumer has the ability to direct the intelligence community at Trump, I look at it as sound advice.

No it wasn't it was generated by an opposition research firm and the guy who wrote has disappeared apparently on the lam now. It was never given any credibility by anyone and the only reason CNN brought it up with all their hysterics and hyperbole was to divert from the real issues and try to set up a gotcha moment and dominate Trump's press conference with this utter nonsense.

BuzzFeed admitted that the dossier was fake news. CNN is the biggest liar - so far.

In my gho,I personally thought the President-elect had an outstanding
press conference and did nothing less than anticipated, and actually
    handled himself Presidential.
Or did he appear wishy-washy to you, anything less than transparent?
Seems like a man that ,regardless of political correctness and public
outrage afraid to say it like it is,not that what people are accustomed
    to hearing.
Says what he means, and means what it is he says.
In other words an honest man and genuine of character.
Both America, and its military apparatus, should be proud
to claim Trump as its future Commander in Chief.
Who´s one of us,and the ordinary average Joe who works
    9-5 in support,maybe not for the nation,but his/her family.
Isn´t it not nice to have such a a civilian in charge that
both speaks and thinks like a majority/minority of us?
Been a long time coming and God Bless not only America,
but its future and well deserved President/to be.

It was in the heading when the "dossier" was released.

“These Reports Allege Trump Has Deep Ties To(*)Russia, A dossier, compiled by a person who has claimed to be a former British intelligence official, alleges Russia has compromising information on Trump. The allegations are unverified, and the report contains errors,” By Ken Bensinger, BuzzFeed News Reporter, Miriam Elder, BuzzFeed News Reporter, Mark Schoofs BuzzFeed News Investigations Editor, Buzzed, Originally posted on Jan. 10, 2017, at 6:20 p.m.

Good points. And BuzzFeed admits they published "clear errors".

lmao. They didn't say it was fake news. They said that the report was unverified and contained errors. That doesn't make it "fake news."

When you publish errors you are publishing Fake News. At least BuzzFeed was honest enough to admit it.

Okay. So, in your world, BuzzFeed released a "fake news" article where they informed their readers by way of the headline of that very article that what they're about to read is "fake news"? Your line of logic is...interesting...to say the least. lol

They directed their audience to it - CNN promoted Fake News without pointing out that it was fake - untrue.
Frankly, BuzzFeed is a more credible source than CNN.

That is exactly what BuzzFeed did. They informed their readers that the story included clear falsehoods.
What refreshing honesty for an NBC affiliated source. ;-)

So if I were to produce a link from, say, Fox News, that also reported that Buzzfeed published the report then you would say that Fox was putting out fake news?

The media twists everything he says insisting they not take his comments seriously yet literally. They have ruined any sense of credibility, and of course they are mad that he chooses to make his intentions known without having to involve any of those guys.

Revoke credentials? Doesn't have to, they can all sit in the media tent and read his tweets along with the rest of us.

Re: Pizzagate, I haven't looked at anything regarding that just because it sounded like a waste of time. Will look into it and if you are correct, I will condemn Breitbart for it just as quickly as I do infowars.

Of course. The story is Fake News. Anyone who republishes any part of it is spreading Fake News". Every "news" organization that discusses fake news without clearly pointing out that it is fake news is far less credible and ethical than BuzzFeed.

Got it. For you, "fake news," is just a buzzword that you parrot without any meaning whatsoever. Thank you for clarifying.

Good points. Trump does gain from every encounter with the "news" media. He should keep confronting them, but I would suggest he put MoJo, The Nation, Breitbart, OAN, LifeZette etc. in the front row. CNN should be serving the coffee.

And the National Enquirer has become far more credible than CNN. Ask former Senator Edwards.
