The fact is that news agencies had been sitting on this story because it couldn't be verified, intel was telling folks it was disinformation, CNN's hatred for Trump exceeded journalistic standards. they even had President slayer Carl Bernstein on the byline, and on their internet story even had a handy link to the Buzzfeed story. It's possible that Buzfeed wouldn't have gone forward without CNN breaking the ice.

No they didn't. That is just another Trump lie. Anderson Cooper went to the alleged link and it was to an analysis of events by a CNN reporter that did not mention the specifics of the allegations. It wasn't a link to buzzfeed. Kellyanne Conway spewed a bucket of lies on CNN and that was one of them. Cooper proved she was lying. Just like when she denied Trump had been briefed. He was briefed personally by Comey.

CNN reported that Trump had been briefed because Trump was briefed; and the President elect may be compromised. That is news! In the same way, they reported on the wikileaks stories about Hillary but didn't publish the specifics.

CNN reported the facts. That was confirmed today by Biden and Clapper, and you are all living in a fantasy world, as usual.

Utter nonsense. CNN did not release the story, just as other outlets had not. There is no mention of Trump engaging with prostitutes, paying them for golden showers, or a video of the purported, and unverified event. What CNN reported was that intelligence agencies included information of Russia potentially attempting to compromise Trump.
