So, you are saying Trump restructured the EPA to follow the laws of Congress! How wonderful of Him.
As I said: This is typical of the Bull$hit Trumpees like BestViewedWithCable love to post.

Trump had zero, zilch, nadda to do with this and most likely had no clue it was even happening. . .so why would it be covered under the context of Trump. Why didn't he stop it, again cause he probably had no clue about it.

"The funding was approved by Congress in December and signed into law by President Barack Obama, but the EPA had to review and approve a formal request from state officials detailing how the city intends to use the grant money."

While he completely intends to dismantle the EPA, that hasn't been completed yet.

I'll just add to it. The swindler-in-chief is even forging ahead with the Keystone pipeline deal to appease the Koch brothers, who stand to benefit the most and to hell with the environment. Trump cares as much about the environment as he does about being honest and benevolent so his getting credit for anything concerning health and safety is ludicrous. And besides, Brannon is making the policy decisions while the lard-a$$ed couch potato watches his favorite conspiracy theory commentators on his boob tube.

Everything Obama did wrong during his eight year failed presidency wasn't his fault.

Everything Trump does right during HIS eight year presidency won't be his fault.

Is that the way it's going to be for the next 7 & 3/4 years?

No, many senators claimed Michigan could cover the cost themselves.

You simply cant give Trump any credit for anything.

    Name the Senators.

    Who was claiming this?

Do you have names? Define "many"?

Post a link to back up your claim.

    LOL!

The Koch Bros. have one of the smallest % ownership of the tar sands area(s) in Canada than any of the other investment companies up there.

But, Berkshire Hathaway, owned by you-know-who, has the LIONS SHARE of the trains that bring in the oil now.

It's not about who wins with you liberals and the rest of your ilk.

It's about all the cash that the decerebrate dim party WON'T be getting any more.

    Elections have consequences.

    Suck it up, losers!

That of course is totally false.

The oil the pipeline would carry is currently being carried by train cars, and the train system was purchased by Obama pal, warren buffet, who would stand to lose billions if the pipeline was constructed.

The pipeline is a safer way to transport hazardous material.

Oregon derailment is latest in string of US oil train crashes
    [IMG]

The derailment of an oil train in Oregon's Columbia River Gorge follows a string of fiery accidents in the U.S. and Canada as shipments of crude by rail have increased with more domestic oil production:

    2013

July 5: A runaway Montreal, Maine & Atlantic Railway train that had been left unattended derailed, spilling oil and catching fire inside the town of Lac-Megantic in Quebec. Forty-seven people were killed and 30 buildings burned in the town's center. About 1.6 million gallons of oil was spilled. The oil was being transported from the Bakken region of North Dakota, the heart of an oil fracking boom, to a refinery in Canada.
Nov. 8: An oil train from North Dakota derailed and exploded near Aliceville, Alabama. There were no deaths, but an estimated 749,000 gallons of oil spilled from 26 tanker cars.

Dec. 30: A fire engulfed tank cars loaded with oil on a Burlington Northern Santa Fe train after a collision about a mile from Casselton, North Dakota. No one was injured, but more than 2,000 residents were evacuated as emergency responders struggled with the intense fire.

    2014

Jan. 7: A 122-car Canadian National Railway train derailed in New Brunswick, Canada. Three cars containing propane and one car transporting crude oil from western Canada exploded after the derailment, creating intense fires that burned for days. About 150 residents were evacuated.

Jan. 20: Seven CSX train cars, six of them containing oil from the Bakken region, derailed on a bridge over the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia. The bridge is near the University of Pennsylvania, a highway and three hospitals. No oil was spilled and no one was injured. The train from Chicago was more than 100 cars long.

April 30: Fifteen cars of a crude oil train derailed in Lynchburg, Virginia, near a railside eatery and a pedestrian waterfront, sending flames and black smoke into the air. Nearly 30,000 gallons of oil were spilled into the James River.

    2015

Feb. 14: A 100-car Canadian National Railway train hauling crude oil and petroleum distillates derailed in a remote part of Ontario, Canada. The blaze it ignited burned for days.

Feb. 16: A 109-car CSX oil train derailed and caught fire near Mount Carbon, West Virginia, leaking oil into a Kanawha River tributary and burning a house to its foundation. The blaze burned for most of week.

March 10: Twenty-one cars of a 105-car Burlington Northern Santa Fe train hauling oil from the Bakken region of North Dakota derailed about 3 miles outside Galena, Illinois, a town of about 3,000 in the state's northwest corner.

March 7: A 94-car Canadian National Railway crude oil train derailed about 3 miles outside the northern Ontario town of Gogama. The resulting fire destroyed a bridge. The accident was 23 miles from the Feb. 14 derailment.

May 6: A 109-car Burlington Northern Santa Fe crude oil train derails near Heimdal, North Dakota. Six cars exploded into flames and an estimated 60,000 gallons of oil spilled.

July 16: More than 20 cars from a 108-car Burlington Northern Santa Fe oil train derailed east of Culbertson, Montana, spilling an estimated 35,000 gallons of oil.

Nov. 7: More than a dozen cars loaded with crude oil derail from a Canadian Pacific Railway train prompting the evacuation of dozens of homes near Watertown, Wisconsin.

    2016

June 3: A Union Pacific train hauling crude oil derails in Oregon's Columbia River Gorge near Mosier, sparking a large fire.

Do the Trump FanBoys think Trump is failing so epically that they now have to claim success for their leader by digging up news from before the dude even took office -
    This thread screams "Yes". Sad.

What? I have no problem giving credit to people who deserve it. Trump doesn't deserve it in this case. Many senators may have claimed as you say but it still passed in December.

The libs don't care that 47 people were killed in that oil train rail accident.

Nor do they care that it took out an entire downtown section of that Canadian town.

They just care about the Buffet money that keeps flowing into the dims coffers.

When was the last time a pipeline spill killed even ONE single person?

He is different. Trump didnt endanger the environment like obama did so his pal warren buffet could profit.

My healthcare costs actually went down about $25/month for this year. I've had the same doctor for the last 12 years. I've gotten a raise every year the last 15. Which president gets the credit for that?

This year is the first time since the late 80's that my health insurance cost went down a bit. I don't think any president has had an impact on my raises or doctor choice. (Which was my point.)
