Then she would benefit from the knowledge that the fetus was never a child - never had a feeling, emotion, or even the flicker of a thought. Certainly lost opportunities can be painful if a child is later desired and the fertility is no longer there, but wherever guilt exists for abortion, it is not reasonable guilt.
