    This link: https://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/cdo-web/datatools/records

Suggests that the fear being driven by the above is baseless. I normally don't ever cite NOAA statistics because their data sets are so biased to show heat, but these statistics are telling. They show the yearly global all time records and frankly, the absolute lowest high temps and the absolute lowest tem minimums are winning.

Surprise. And NOAA won't publicize this. Wonder why....

"Don't you know the difference between weather and climate!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Sorry, just had to throw that one in since whenever righties do this with cold weather, they are immediately attacked with the sentence above.

This is nothing, it gets that hot in Phoxniex and even hotter in Tuscon. It isn't uncommon to see 120+ degrees in July.

I lived in Scottsdale for 5 years during college and agree that we had plenty of days at 115+.

I was actually surprised they made as big a deal out of it as they did

Phoenix is not the planet. And the record temp for Phoenix was set, well let's look up the numbers.

These are the ten hottest weather temperature days in the history of the city of Phoenix, Arizona, dating back to 1895. The all-time record hottest temperature ever recorded in Phoenix is 122 degrees, which occurred on June 26, 1990.

As anyone who has ever traveled to, or lived in, the city of Phoenix knows, it can get pretty hot there. One hundred degree days are not rare in Phoenix. On average, the city experiences 92 days of 100 or more degree weather days per year. The longest stretch of continuous 100 degree days is 76, which occurred from the 10th of June through the 24th of August in 1993.

BS. There have only been THREE days over 120 degrees EVER recorded in Phoenix.
The hottest day recorded in Tucson is 117 degrees in 1990.

Did it hurt pulling that crap from your arse?

And yesterday it reached up to a blistering 75 degrees in north central Florida.

Weather happens. "Weather" or not it fits the narrative of the Climate Change Cultists. Sorry for your luck.

I don't know about Phoenix, but Las Vegas lies, yes, lies about their temperature. Who would willingly visit a place that's 115 or 120 for a vacation? So they knock it down to anything below 110 degrees to make people feel better.

I think we should do everything possible to create a healthier climate and clean up whatever areas we can.

I do not, however, think we should destroy certain industries which will hurt A LOT of people. I am kinda one of those in the middle on climate change, I see it as a REALLY BIG DEAL, but not that the world is ending in 20 years.

The hottest temperature ever recorded on Earth was in Death Valley California - 134 degrees. This happened over 100 years ago, in 1913. That high has never been seen since.

If a single day of weather can prove your silly argument, then a single day can disprove it.

Climate change deniers are silly, but don't sweat it. Their inability to confront the science won't have any impact on the science.

No one denies climates change. It's something that has always happened and does not mean the end of time. The global warming separatists are just big dramaqueens

If the conclusion of the planet's climatologists depended entirely on a single reading of one thermometer in one locale, they'd be as silly as climate change deniers.

    They're not.
