Given that it takes a considerable amount of time to retrace the steps of hackers and the impact that they had so it is unlikely that the answer will be known until all of the research and investigation is completed.

It is reasonably straightforward to identify HOW the hackers could have altered the election outcome by modifying the voter roles that they were able to access in 39 states. What needs to be determined is WHAT they modified and WHEN they modified it? Those modifications then need to be correlated with actual voters and their experiences during the election. If we take the instance of MI where the BLOTUS only won by a mere 10,700 votes it would take an investigation of at least that number, but probably many more, voters whose voting records were altered by hackers in MI to find out if that impacted their ability to vote last November.

To put this into perspective when hackers obtain millions of credit card numbers and names does the issuing bank wait for each card holder to report that there are fraudulent purchases or do they just cancel those cards and issue new ones?

We know that the hackers got into the voter rolls and that should be enough to redo the election. However since the voter rolls are now compromised they cannot be relied upon to not prevent legitimate voters from voting in an election redo. The extent of the hacking needs to be determined and the records of each voter verified and corrected accordingly. Only then could an election redo be counted upon to produce a valid result.

Bear in mind we know this happened in at least 39 states! It is going to take some considerable time to fix this problem.

    So, I'll translate.

We'll never see any evidence any Russian, or Agent of Russia, changed any votes in 2016.

Clowns like Trump can achieve just as much success as anyone. They depend on weak fealty from insecure people for it, though.

"Weak fealty" (whatever that means) and "insecure people", most often rely on government for support. They don't help Trump in any way shape or form.

The evidence ALREADY EXISTS that they hacked the voter roles!

Why would they hack the voter roles?

What would be the purpose of hacking the voter roles?

Oh, I really ought to add one other thing concerning Trump's shortcomings....

He needs to get his children and his in-laws completely the hell OUT of government! The hyperliberal "news" media use them like targets in a shooting gallery every moment possible, and they're such stupidly convenient targets.

Wisdom: The entire Trump extended-family needs to just go "be rich" somewhere and become INVISIBLE....

We actually agree on something!

The problem is that the BLOTUS would wither and collapse because he is incapable of standing on his own two feet unless he is surrounded by his sycophantic family members.

Trump and his family are ruined but do not know it yet. Reputation is very important in financial circles and Trump was already teetering, now he is considered a "Bad Risk" and his family are already feeling this effect as it bleeds over to them. The perpetual amnesia and "untruths" from the males and the pretend intellect of Ivanka make them all persona no grata. Melania is wise to stay as far away as possible and will be seen as an innocent victim.

Yeah it's funny how that has changed. The right complained that Congress was so incompetent because they had no leadership from President Obama. Now since Trump is President leadership doesn't matter to the right. But hey ,that's just my opinion .

Against what, the frivolous spending of money that has to be paid back to the nations this country borrows money from? Why would any sound person be against such a thing? The fact of the matter is that if there was a "smoking gun" against Mr. Trump, it would have been presented a long time ago. Instead, there is this continual grasping at straws and making of strawmen which to me, only shows the intrinsic maliciousness that is common place on politics. It would better serve the country if those who obsess over this matter to present all evidence of wrong-doing, no matter how insignificant it may seem, and more to prosecution. This does not happen because there is NOTHING and those behind this insanity can waste time as they work to nullify anything that might put the power back into the hands of the citizens and denizens of these (dis)United States of [North] America.

Is this the goal of all of those who HATE Mr. Trump and his family, to ruin them? How nice! Evil as all get out. My mama always told me, "Evil IS as Evil DOES!"

His most substantial shortcoming is surely the fact he's president. That kinda short-circuits all else.

I have no idea what the "Goal" is of anyone, the opinion I put forth is a reality based observation of fact which is created by the family patriarch himself for whatever reason.

    But, I definitely dislike him.

Beloved? Never-mind, I am not going to address that bit of madness, just yet. The fixation on President Trump has grown into obsession. With Obama, all of you who are focused on Mr. Trump, his "shortcomings" and the rumors surrounding Him and Russian President Putin, NO ONE of you brought up Obama's incompetence, his continual lying, his obfuscations, his breaking of promises, including ending WOT, his expansion of WOT by having Qadafi murdered and then bragging about it on national and international television, his "murdering" of Usama bin Laden, the mysterious deaths of members of SeAL Team Six (6), his intrusions on civil liberties of U.S. citizens, etc. Yet, because as one poster stated, Mr. Trump and his family are easy targets, you lay all of your angst, anguish, sense of betrayal, Obama's sinking this nation into further debt, and the list could go on, at Mr. Trump's doorstep and the man has just become president. He would be justified to give all of his detractors a double shotgun blast from the past and say, "F You!"

I would say something about Usama bin Laden but I have entirely too much respect for many of those in the Armed Services.

I recall former President Obama making the statement about "Holding onto your guns and religion." His exact words, "They get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations." Why don't you on the Left and some on the so-called Right (they wish they were) constantly harp on this issue like you obsess over President Trump and his supposed Russian affiliations, that are not? Riddle me this, Batman!

If people missed a Trump Unification message, it's not on them, because like everything else, it would be becauseTrump lied about it.

Not a problem. I take it upon myself to combat slights that people levy against President Trump.
