When I lived in PA, the passing was allowed on the double yellow lines. Here in TN, not so much, at least legally, but when one is caught behind the John Deere for miles at a time, one makes their own passing zones when necessary....

Interstate 40, the posted speed limit (until you get to Cocke County) is 65, but nary a vehicle does under 80, and the TNSP doesn't blink unless you stand out from the herd. But, unfortunately, we also have the big ol' town cars with the ball cap on the back deck that says SS *fill in name* that does 60, and everybody has to dodge around them.

So you won't feel left out we have that problem too. I miss the good ole days when texting wasn't a problem for drivers. There was no texting. Now everyone FBs, Twitters, snapchats, or whatever else they do with cell phones.

Don't you hate it when you are driving the speed limit and you feel like you should be in the slow lane. Gives you a complex.:(

Even just talking, people will slow down to 50 in a 70 mph zone. Guess its a good thing they cant talk and speed at the same time, but still...

Really would be bad if they tried it on some roads in Texas. They might get run over or create road rage to end all road rage.

True, that. Im always amazed at state roads where the speed limit is 75 even though there are houses set back off the road. Can you imagine living there and having to pull out into 75 mph 'traffic' every time you left the house? I'd hate that. .

We have a hill that causes our drive to be a blind drive, I always count to 10 before I pull out onto the highway.

Armadillo.... One of the few animals I don't like. They dig holes in my yard and they are just plain nasty.

We were in the Big Bend at the Basin and there were skunks everywhere. They were just roaming around not bothering anyone and for sure no one was bothering them. The things you see in TEXAS.

I worked at a place in Irving one time and it was kinda in the woods. One guy left the windows down on his VW beetle and when he came out, there was a roadrunner in his back seat. Not easy to herd roadrunners and he was much bigger up close! Gotta love city varmints! :)

Don't leave your windows down in cow country either.

Than is just one nasty slime on the steering wheel!
