oh btw if the government cannot ban all guns why can they ban some? again you appear deficient in understanding constitutional theory and the concept of PROPER GOVT power. and why should an honest citizen be limited to a one shot musket or a 22 bolt action rifle when criminals are going to have state of the art weapons? why do you hate honest people attacked by criminals? You appear to want ti make criminals have a safer working environment
you taught me what happens when people who are here to bait gun owners pretend they understand constitutional law and then try to convince someone who actually taught the subject that these hacks know better
he hates the politics of the NRA and pro gun voters and wants to push laws designed to harass and impede legal gun ownership
I spent hours one night going over this with you. That is a fact. Face it.....you lost this case before you were even born. LOL
The politics of the NRA are pretty detestable. Pro gun voters have every possible ideology so not really sure what that part means.
how so-you do know that what caused the NRA to become political was the Democrat party's decision to pretend it was doing something about crime by passing laws that only harassed honest gun owners
a local CBS report indicates that the shooter rode the bus to school with the guns in a duffel bag and apparently was able to take them right into the school AS WAS THE CASE in the past, STUDENTS ARE NOW SAYING that the SHOOTER exhibited TROUBLING SIGNS in the past
gee, because they continue to have access to state of the art narcotics computer hacking hardware and software let me guess, you think if the government disarms honest people that same government (which loses at least 20,000 M16 rifles each year along with thousands of pistols) is going to be able to keep those who import billions in narcotics, run white slavery rings, etc are not going to be able to get military grade weapons? do you actually believe the stuff you say or is it a facade to cover up what you truly believe?
Just some random things I saw years ago before I quit paying attention. Just for an example though, there are holes in our gun transfer laws that need plugged. I'm all for a law requiring a NICS check for all person to person transfers. I would except immediate family from that though. I would also like to see a mechanism in place for people on certain drugs or diagnosed/suspected of certain mental ailments lose their right, temporarily or permanently based on specifics of the case. It needs to be done in a court hearing with both sides represented by an atty though, not just some bureaucrat as some states have mentioned or tried to do.
All the government has got to do is to stop production of pistols, assault rifles and any other weapon which doesn't fit the criteria they deem necessary. If they don't make them, you cannot buy them plain and simple. Even the NRA your needs for a weapon to defend yourself is infinitesimal. https://www.mediamatters.org/blog/2015/10/21/nra-commentary-admits-the-odds-of-needing-a-gun/206313
The govt doesn't produce assault rifles or pistols. And using media matters is a source is even more moronic than using breightbart.
Are you claiming the NRA is wrong on this? Maybe you just don't like what the article has to say?? Be honest now.
I'm saying your source isn't worth battery power to click the link. And that your commentary before the link was a flat out lie. BTW, I own 2 ARs. Both built in my garage.
I'm beginning to think that truth is an unknown quantity to you. You'd better quit before I form a permanent opinion of your viewpoint. Wow, I'm impressed; do they fire real bullets?
wow-you do know that the OBAMA DOJ found that those background checks are worthless without complete gun registration. criminals cannot be prosecuted for failing to register a gun. 24 years of the brady bill and no study could find any evidence that those checks have decreased violent crime
You are welcome to form any poi ion you want. The fact that you consider media matters reputable has already formed mine.
