My problem with this suggestion, and it does have some merit, is that I want America out of the business of providing foreign aid and military defense for everyone, let alone Southeeast Asia. Let Tawian, South Korea, and Japan spend their own treasure and blood to defend their freedom. Let Europe clean up its own bloody mess. It would be best and America would be wise to only act when it is its own blood and treasure that is being threatened, not others. Altruistic acts are suicidal. Miss Ayn Rand: "We do need a policy based on long-range principles, i.e., an ideology. But a revision of our foreign policy, from its basic premises on up, is what today’s anti-ideologists dare not contemplate. The worse its results, the louder our public leaders proclaim that our foreign policy is bipartisan. A proper solution would be to elect statesmen—if such appeared—with a radically different foreign policy, a policy explicitly and proudly dedicated to the defense of America’s rights and national self-interests, repudiating foreign aid and all forms of international self-immolation".--http://aynrandlexicon.com/lexicon/foreign_policy.html
In my opinion the time has come to stop screwing around and use our best option (if not the only) to prevent Lil' Kimmy from playing his game. We should toss the nice guy, taboo driven BS and send in a few seal teams through his tunnels to blow his damn head off.
I can support this, and have often argued the same point with friends. I especially got on my high horse when I saw what they did to that student. We went and got Noriega, we ought to go and get that little midget monster Kim and hang him by his balls for murder. Loved your post. The word must get around the world, don't touch an American. We had that policy with the Indians, and it is the same policy we must have with the rest of the world. Americans are untouchable. And any harm done to them is an act of war.
We beat the British, the strongest and most powerful nation in the world and established the world's first free nation. No way will I ever believe or accept we can't squeeze and squish a gnat.
Maybe the Koreans will squash you, kid. Your slavemasters collaborated with the dictatorial French monarchy to dodge taxes and washed your peasant minds clean of thought. Have a good day now!
I'll admit to disliking Steven Mnuchin and having little but wariness and suspicion regarding him or any other 'insider' Goldman Sachs/hedge fund/Wall Street banker friend of the Federal Reserve System. But, in truth, nearly every Treasury Secretary we have had for many years has been a part of the Fed's webwork of growing total control over the nation's economy. Examples: Idiot "W" Bush relied on Fed insider, Hank Paulson, to tell him everything to do.... Idiot Barack Obama relied on two-time convicted tax cheater and Fed insider, Timothy Geithner, to tell him everything to do.... That said, the WORST place for a creature like Mnuchin to be sticking his nose is into highly-combustible foreign affairs -- especially when thermonuclear hydrogen bombs and the ICBM's that deliver them are the centerpiece under consideration. And, yeah, "All Wars are Economic Wars"... we've heard that for decades -- BUT -- this time, in a situation like the one we've got now with China/North Korea, my blood turns to ice at the thought of a f*cking Wall Street banker like Mnuchin calling the shots.... . "Sanctions? Oh, yes, we turned-tail and ran away from Crimea because of your 'sanctions'...."
You have to be a nut, or prisoner of one of Kim's psycho wards, except the country doesn't have any internet to speak of, or private computers. Oh well, maybe you're one of those quirky anomalies that show up once in awhile in the universe, like Pelosi or Moore. Anyways bye. It is nice living in a semi-free nation and not having to deal with basket cases like you. Bye Bye Suzy Fruit Cake.
Well I think it's a bit late for that... unless the US Military are good at tiptoeing away. He should have been ignored to start with.
Do not worry. We, the mighty United States, will do NOTHING. NOTHING. Trump has decided to engage in a "Cash Register War' with North Korea, replete with 'sanctions'... all of which will be proven to have been as useless as teats on a BOAR HOG. ."Sanctions?! We're supposed to be afraid of sanctions...?!"
Sad, but true. In my opinion there are very few men of honor and courage in politics to day. Right know its a few creative geniuses, and a lot middle class working heroes holding this country together. Lets hope they don't shrug. As an aside, is your avatar you, or a fictional or historical figure Kind of reminds of the Kings Men or that actor who played the equalizer on TV..
No, the avatar is that of my 'hero', Detective Chief Superintendent Christopher Foyle, who was played masterfully by Michael Kitchen in the series, "Foyle's War": https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foyle's_War . I've been told that I do look somewhat like him, though....
McMasters says we have ran out of road. Sanctions take time and time is about to run out. Trump will make his case to the UN today.
In about four years from now, when South Korea has been forcibly integrated into a single "Korea" under Kim Jong-un, and Japan has been divided between China, the unified 'Korea', and, to a lesser extent, Russia, we may all look back and remember that Trump addressed the UN on September 19, 2017, and said NOTHING that made any real difference at all. What we have "run out of" is the ability to project credible power in East Asia and that portion of the Pacific. In the end, when you mash all the bullshit out of it, we will actually do NOTHING that causes North Korea to give up thermonuclear hydrogen bombs and ICBM's. Hint: Nobody is going to change their strategic goals because of some rambling, ineffective litany of "sanctions". Have "sanctions" caused Vladimir Putin to abandon the ethnic-Russians who live in Eastern Ukraine or the Crimea? Has Putin given up even one square inch of what Russia annexed there...? Trump was given his "marching orders" for a "Cash Register War" featuring "sanctions" by the insiders who run the world's large central banks. This clot of delusional bean-counters think that they can control the real world in the same way that they manipulate imaginary money, columns of figures, "bond" portfolios, and balance sheets. They will shortly discover just how wrong they are....
I hear the Reagan is headed over for some exercises with Aegis Destroyers from Japan, S Korea, and the US. Been awhile since the Reagan undocked out of Japan to be used in some exercises.
