Yes, and the mega millionaire team owners have joined with the mega millionaire protesters calling for 100% unity by the NFL in opposition to the police and the United States.

 

Not anymore. Now they are protesting the President and his supporters with the team owners urging all players and staff join in 100% unity in this protest.

 

Note all the many many threads in this sub-forum that are regarding this same Trump/NFL thing....then realize that Trump is dominating the conversation in America, steering it in the direction that HE wants - the liberals would WANT the conversation to be about the health-care vote, but instead Trump is steering the conversation in a direction (NFL kneelers) that takes a swipe at political correctness. This mastery of the political discourse would not have been possible before Twitter. Think about that.

 

It is the leftwing and MSM that became hysterical when anyone dare express their opposition and the president called for a counter peaceful protest.

 

So pampered whiney multi-millionaires have joined with the one-percenter BILLIONAIRES to condemn our police officers, and they do this via disrespecting our flag/anthem/nation! I know which side I'D bet on to eventually win this fight!
If we can BOYCOTT the NFL's sponsors enough, then we will score a resounding victory in this culture war.

Refusing to stand for the National Anthem, however, isn't really relevant to local police. Rather, it is a protest against the American military and American system of government. This list of who the Democratic Party openly hates and attacks continues to grow.

Both are peaceful, and I think it's questionable how the first is disrespectful. I don't feel disrespected by that, and I don't regard the national anthem as something to be regarded religiously the way certain zealous patriots seem to do. Those who do seem to have a religious regard for their country, even to the point of singling out and attacking heretics who don't believe and do as they believe and do.

 

A peaceful boycott for a peaceful boycott. The NFL calls for "unity" in everyone boycotting standing for the national anthem. The President has called all called for boycotting standing for the national anthem at football games by no one attending football games.

Ideally, both will be equally successful. Nearly no football players will stand for the national anthem and there will be virtual no audience present to stand for the national anthem either. That should make everyone happy, don't you think?

what these retards should be protesting is crime in black neighborhoods and black on black crime; in fact, it's the lack of policing that is a huge issue in black on back murdering cities like Chicago. Blacks kill each other in numbers that dwarf the odd white cop on black citizen shooting. Blacks are oppressing blacks much more than whites are and this is a FACT. The problem with blacks is not cops or whites, it's themselves.

I am all for protests, done in the right way. Why don't these retards get together and form a peaceful group/movement that seeks to fix crime infested neighborhoods like Chicago? Why the hell is it that blacks are okay with blacks killing thousands of blacks yet scream when a few blacks are killed by white cops (most of them justified shootings)? Give me ONE rational explanation of why these NFL beans for brains aren't protesting the bigger issues blacks face today? black on black crime, lack of good schools in black neighborhoods, bad parenting, and UNDER POLICING, not over policing. The biggest issue in cities like Chicago is not white cops, it's black thugs and the lack of policing. Thousands and thousands of blacks are victims of other blacks and just a handful are victims of bad cops. Why aren't these idiots trying to fix or protest the real issues?

and yes, there is a lot to celebrate if you are black today, you can even become president if you - 1. get an education 2. obey the laws 3. work hard 4. have a positive mentality.. SKY is the limit. A black person couldn't say this in 1800s or early to mid 1900s, they can say it today. Colin Kapersh&t and the rest should actually be crying to the anthem and yelling out loud 'what a great Country this is, i love this Country!'
