    I'll bite. What politics did Kaepernick and Tomlin drag into it?

    Did they ask for Republicans to explain things? Did they ask for Democrats to do something specific? Is either of them running for office? Is either of them currently holding an elected office?

    He is a NON. Military guy so he put his hand over his heart. I always salute even now as a civilian since I am retired from the military. Civilians or people who never served are supposed to put their hands over their hearts. We recenly recieved a new protocal that sagscany US Military veteran can salute the flag and salute during the Pledge.. I would find it as mocking if Obama orTrumpnorcClinton saluted the flag.

    Someone has some reading comprehension issues, I see.

    That link was about the NAACP and others calling for a boycott of the NFL. That isn't politics. There is no mention of any politician and any political party and any lawmaker in that link.

    There was no politics in this issue until President Trump got involved.

    No, it wasn't. Just like the protests to save the Confederate monuments was not political, unless you can show me that Republicans sent them down there to protest.

    The national anthem isn't political. Both Democrats and Republicans support it or don't care about it. Same with Libertarians and Greens and all of that. It was not written as a political anthem, which is why it's called the "National" anthem.

    Because you always stand up and put your hand over your heart when you hear the National Anthem playing, of course. You don't, and neither do I.

    I know you hate Obama, but luckily he's no longer President. And he never referred to the people he swore an oath to defend and protect as "sons of bitches".

    I found out about that a couple of years ago when I went to a college football game. Before the anthem, the announcer explained that all veterans were entitled to salute during the anthem. For years I had just held my hand over my heart. And so, for the first time in decades, I rendered a salute during the anthem.

    I always do when I am in public

    Some liberal here is making a big deal about not saluting in the privacy of our home and I think that is different

    But in public of course I stand at attention and salute the flag during the national anthem

    Boycotts are not political. The left didn't boycott Chik-Fil-A because of their political beliefs. They boycotted them because of their marriage beliefs.

    Just stop posting about what you don't understand.
