No, Trump just said something bad about POWs. In this case, he used fallen soldiers to jab at his predecessors - and he lied.

The hero worshipping isn't being exhibited by this basketball coach. It's being put on full display by the Trump supporters who can't be honest.

 

Whatever, why does he even have to brag about it? Why not just write letters or call without making it public? That's what someone would do who actually cares. Of course, since he only cares about himself, this kind of behavior is expected.

When it was announced that Trump had won the presidency back in November, Popovich mentioned that he was "sick to his stomach" because of the "xenophobic, homophobic, racist, misogynistic" things Trump had uttered prior to being elected.

Popovich became coach in 1996. Robinson was the draft pick in 1987. Popovich wasn't there then. They failed in the 1997 season because of Robinson being injured and ended up in 3rd to last place that year, and in the lottery they won the #1 pick.
