I don't know how old you are, but blue collar workers starting leaving the Democratic party in the late 60s, into the 70s, and with Reagan into the 80s. The Republican party has been the party of working men and women across the South and West for a long time. There are some holders on up here in the NE.

As Johnson said it would when he signed it, the Civil Rights Act costs the Dems the South for the lives of everyone in the room.

Kennedy sending in the Army to enforce integration of the schools didn't help either.

That's true but the D's have taken for granted the rust belt states for decades. The tide has turned.

If you're a blue collar worker I would suggest you hope the current Republican tide rolls on out. Trump's no more interested in you than his pal Putin.

The exodus from the dems in the South started long before the outsourcing of production.

The white sheets turned from Blue to Red in the 60s.

Funny note: I have a cousin who once wore the sheet, many years ago.

    He voted for Obama.

So basically you want them to turn to the party that abandoned them.

I wonder what legitimate psychologists would make of the manic fixation and gullibility of people convinced the President is mentally ill.
I also wonder what those same legitimate psychologists would have to say about members of their trade suggesting a diagnosis person without ever meeting the patient.

They abandoned the party, not the other way around. No one put a gun at the head of the working man, and said become a Republican, a party known historically to be for big business owners, not the workers.

Donald Trump was elected fair and square.
If the GOP had the % of super-delegates the Democratic Party has,
Trump might have been denied the nomination.

His own party has been at war with him since day one as certainly as
Jimmy Carter faced the same war from his party on day one.

Psychiatric / Psychological assessments without a personal visit are editorials.
They are not valid examinations per the professional organizations.

And PAH-Leeze don't try tell me even Trump at his worst would be worse than
Hillary and her fainting, concussions due to falls - one major, bloating ankles and the ramification on thinking processes those underlying medical issues create.
My guess is Congestive Heart Failure but, again, I have not done a proper examination.

Across an immense, unguarded, ethereal border, Canadians, cool and unsympathetic,
regard our America with envious eyes and slowly and surely draw their plans against us.

Supply side economics helps the blue collar worker as does leveling the playing field with regard to restrictions on US imports to foreign countries and reducing and territorializing US corporate tax rates. Additionally Trump's education reforms led by Betsy DeVoss will result in better quality educational opportunities for the children of blue collar workers. Overwhlemingly blue color white America voted for Trump.

Which only points to how frustrated they were, and not to how smart they are.

The Dem's lost power in the south as the result of Civil Rights actions by MLK and the US Justice Dept. White sheets did not turn Red - although that was the smear campaign of the D's. The southern strategy is a fairy tale.

They were smart enough to understand that the D's had no interest in them and that Trump did regardless of his style. It's the economy stupid. They voted against the 1% Obama economy and for the 3% supply side economy (adjusted for inflation and population growth).

Three UCLA basketball players who had been detained in China on suspicion of shoplifting admitted on Wednesday that they stole items from three stores, and they thanked U.S. President Donald Trump for his help in winning their release.

Hey y'all! Do you think so-called President Trump will apologize for this retarded tweet?

First of course it isn't one third of Americans and second Obama reduced the number from the peak of the Bush recession. Now I will admit there would have been a lot less under a Republican President but that is because Republicans don't give a damn about poor people or poor children.

Mind reading what. Perhaps you didn't realize there were translators there because of course Trump barely even speaks English. But go ahead and give me a list of Trump's accomplishments on his trip. And reading written speeches doesn't actually count as a major success. Well I take it back, in Trump's case maybe itnis.
