How is it derailed? The thread deals with Israel, which many Christians believe Jews are entitled to by God. The Bible doesn't support that idea, and I was giving the verse that establishes this.

Then why would he give the land back to them while they are in rebellion? Even Moses and his crew couldn't enter the land because of their lack of faith and disobedience. During their entire history they've been kicked out whenever they were not obeying God, and only returned once they started obeying again. Most Jews in the West believe in diversity, multiculturalism, and a "race-less" society where everyone is so mixed together they won't fight about nationality or ethnicity anymore. Israel should be consistent with that and open up their borders to non-Jews. Why do we need a country that has an 80% Jewish majority, anyway? What's the big deal if they are only 30% of Israel? As long as their values live on, who cares?

The Bible says the Israelites were led out of Egyptian captivity. Jews were only a minority of these people.
