Your chart sucks, and worse doesn't contradict at all what I said. We are talking about different things here This has nothing to do with rate cuts and and everything to do with stacking the deck. Those under 19264 got almost nothing because they paid almost nothing to begin with. Between EIC and other deductions they have gotten everything they paid in plus a decent bonus on top of that returned to them. The second fifth got a little more because they pay in a little more. The same is true all the way up the board. The more you pay in the more you got back till you get to the last quintile, which actually takes in the top two tax brackets. Please note whether Brookings wants to admit it or not the top 20% pay over 50% of the taxes actually paid in this country the top one percent pays 20% oof all the taxes paid in the country.

There are no witnessed, what you have is friends, hoping to get some of the money from a potential law suit. claiming well she told me all about it. Not one of those people would be allowed to testify to that in court.

Sorry Reagan nor Bush nor anyone else can, on their own authority, do a damn thing about the hiring practices of the Bureaucracy. Again Domestic spending policy since Ford is almost entirely the Bailiwick of the legislative branch.

AS I've already pointed out Since Ford vetoed a huge pork bil in the mid seventies congress has opted to essentially strip the president of his veto power of Budget items via huge budget deals numbering in the thousands of pages. And presenting him the entire budget for all forty-six agencies simultaneously. He then has thirty days tor read that mess and sign it or veto it. If he does neither it become law regardless after thirty days.

Who are you quoting? Factually you did not quote anybody. You simply blurted that out.

Trump said he knew Epstein. Trump said he is a terrific guy. But this was some years ahead of the prosecution that cost Epstein very little. Wanna know why? Lack of evidence. So Epstein got the best deal he could get that included jail time.

Ample evidence for those people, and not precarious timing like the alleged assaults against Trump and Moore.

Let me know when you guys dump Franken, who we have a picture of him groping a woman.

Let me know when you have evidence of actual misconduct and clean up your side. Degenerate hollywood and your sleazy congressman.

It's not like Presidents read that stuff anyway, but I get your point. They need to hire an army of interns and lawyers to sift through it.

Congress should be limited to its entire years worth of bills fitting on a single side A4 sheet with size 10 font.

I know. I'm talking about who the Bush tax cuts benefited, and your looking for ways to present numbers in a way that don't mean anything. And even those number are inaccurate (before the Bush tax cuts the rich paid 39.5%... not 38%)

Wrong again! They're in the hole. Maybe they got one $300 check in the mail. But when the deficit these cuts produced started hitting, those 19K jobs were the first to go. On the other hand, those making over a million a year received $110K in cuts every year.

It doesn't matter from which point you look at it. Tax cuts always benefit the rich, on the backs of the poor and middle class. Because it's not just a matter of trying to play with numbers to see if you can make them look different. I gave an example in another conversation. When you give tax cuts to the rich by increasing the deficit, then things go away. So now that the Post Office that was 5 miles away is closed because of the deficit, it's the poor and the middle class who carry the expense of driving an extra 15 miles to the next Post Office.

They did it last decade. It created a huge mess. One of the worst financial crisis in our history. It took Democrats 8 years to fix it. And now they want to do it again?

Who says the Post Office is not part of the government?

Looks like the example went right over your head. Add to that, education, school lunches, law enforcement, infrastructure, courts, emergency response, college loans, Veterans ....and many many more. These are things that directly impact the poor and the middle class.....

And my, but haven't the poor and middle class been affected .

You're not helping by pointing out how we have been negatively affected.

And they own over 80% of the wealth, and take home over 60% of the income created. And you think they are getting screwed? How much more do you want to give them while the rest of the world scrambles to survive?

Wrong on all counts. First lowering taxes doesn't get anyone laid of or fired, that's just nonsense second a lot of those in that bracket like me are on SS and aren't paying government a dime. Hell I can't even get em to look at my paper work. 3rd Quit confounding SS and Medicare payments with the income tax.

Did ya? I had a thread up on the Demo from Californiafication. You don't actually think that those on Right will be the vast majority of Deviates getting hooked up for this. Do ya? As it seemed like you were looking to make a comparison.

A lot of the wealth but thats an accumulation over a life time. Adjusted gross income percent however was just over 19% for the top 1% accorging to the tax foundation. Please note we don't tax wealth. We tax earnings. These terms are not synonymous.
